Myself and a friend decided to try this beautiful place and I must admit we were both surprised at how welcoming and warm the atmosphere was . Great prices great ales , we most definitely stumbled upon a gem and yes indeedy we shall return xx
Only the 2nd or 3rd time I've been in. But I was welcomed like a regular. Excellent beers and lagers and a warm cliental. The hosts are like family friends, and after a minute or two they make you feel like your part of a family. If I could, I would proffer 10 stars rather than the 5, I'm unfortunately limited to.

Me and my 2 friends called in here for a drink as we were going to a event . The landlady was really friendly and made us really welcome. The drinks were a great price and we ended up chatting with everyone as they were all so friendly . Great atmosphere . The landlady even sent us away with 3 buffets so we could have a seat at our event . Wish I lived local as this would definately be my regular drinking place . Highly recommend the little place with the biggest welcome
Did a joint visit here with Doncaster & Rotherham CAMRA. It's more spacious than it looks with a small back room and a beer garden out back. There's also 2 tables out front. there's free wifi. There's a good selection of beer and reasonable prices. Friendly service. It's a short walk from Parkgate
An incredibly welcoming, friendly pub with loads of entertainment, amazing snacks and a great drinks selection. This place has such a great community feel and badges you feel completely at home. We really enjoyed the drinks selection (particularly the Lilly's cider). A brilliant Friday night! Loved it!
Great team here, hot nuts, pork pies, sausage rolls etc. I would reccomend Lilley's Mango Cider
