   This pub has a fantastic beer garden for the kids and adults. Equipped with a wooden play area . Surrounded by walls and fence makes it a perfect and secure place for toddlers.The decking is a perfect place to have a drink for the adults. The gentleman behind the bar is so friendly . My grandson loves it .

   A proper village pub with a homely interior, warm and welcoming management and great clientele to boot. For the authentic Northern pub experience you can do so much worse than this gem of s61. The lines are cleaned regularly which guarantees a brilliant pint. There's a well situated pool table, clean toilet facilities and in summer the beer garden is a delight.

   A friendly community pub with a decent beer garden suited to families. The beer selection is a bit lacking as is the ability to accept card payments (come on, folks - it's 2018!) Food isn't available as far as I could tell.
