Had the fish and chips meal at The Edmunds, the fish was massive with crispy batter. My friend had the bean chilli which she enjoyed. The pub was quiet when we visited, but may get busy at times, so maybe it's best to book a table . Nice place and friendly staff, plenty of parking. The decor could do with an update as a bit old fashioned, but a nice village pub.

Great friendly local pub, sadly no food served on a Monday. Beer and cider tasty, real fires on to keep us nice and warm.

A Samuel Smiths boozer so a perfect selection of ale on the pumps. Traditional Sunday Roast was fantastic. Not faultless (I love my greens super green) but just awesome generally. Wish I'd gone for a small portion as it nearly killed me. Superb value. Lovely proper Yorkshire puddings and desserts to die for. Lovely friendly and helpful staff too. Nice and peaceful atmosphere in at least three well furnished and cosy rooms. I liked it so much I'm considering making the slightly long haul run from Nottingham to sample the Sunday lunch menu further! Yum

Visited today for a family birthday lunch. Would certainly recommend. Food freshly cooked to order and generous portions. Such friendly staff that nothing is too much trouble. It certainly comes recommended . We will be back.

Haven't been for years (used to live in Worsbrough, now live in Milton Keynes) and it's only just reopened. Cash only, but friendly service and friendly locals. Hope this beautiful old pub weathers the current economic climate; it's a piece of history that shouldn't be allowed to perish.

Went with a party of 12 for a meal after a local funeral and was pleasantly surprised at the large size of the portions and the very reasonable price of the food. We had steaks, fish, lasagna among other items things. Check the specials board behind the bar as items not on the menu are always available. You have got to have the chocolate brownie. It is the most amazing brownie I have eaten anywhere. Wonderful, old local village with a peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
