   My husband and I went into the Thurrock store with very little knowledge of pushchairs, to have a look. But by the end of the appointment were completely clued up enough to make a decision and order. Tereza could not have been more helpful, unlocking multiple pushchairs and car seats, showing us the functionality of each, explaining the differences, encouraging us to try them out, giving her experience, whilst reassuring us we did not have to make a decision today. She spent over an hour with us without a prior consultation booking, even though we had no intention of making a purchase that day. But we did and glad we did and very excited about it. Thanks to Gina for the price match and the other member of staff for being so welcoming.

   I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Natalie at Mamas & Papas for her outstanding service. From the moment we walked in, she was helpful, friendly, and really knowledgeable about everything in the store. She took her time explaining products, answering questions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Natalie made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable — you could tell she genuinely cared and wanted to make sure we left with the right products and the right advice. Excellent customer service like this is rare, and it made a big difference! Thank you, Natalie, for going above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend speaking to her if you visit the store!

   Absolutely fantastic customer service. I went to the booked the appointment to test try prams and car seats for 1.5 hours with my mum and mother in law. Krystal was actually with us for far longer, and she was fantastic. She showed us the entire range of prams and let us test trial them. She had extensive knowledge on the prams and car seats, safety info ect. Once we choose our pram she taught me how to collapse it and change the seat around. Aswell as taught me all about the car seat. I was able to try different car seats with a weighted doll to gauge them aswell. She was able to answer any questions from any of us and was very engaging and friendly. She also showed me some other products in store that I asked about. Incredible customer service would highly recommend. Thank you!

   I was very disappointed with the level of customer service during our recent visit to the Mamas & Papas store in Thurrock. We had booked a one-hour consultation specifically to learn about different prams, carrycots, and car seats, expecting a helpful and informative session. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that. The consultant made little effort to explain the features or differences between various models and instead focused almost entirely on promoting Mamas & Papas’ own prams. When we asked about other brands, she briefly mentioned them but quickly dismissed them, without even asking about our budget or preferences. Throughout the appointment, her attitude came across as dismissive and arrogant. Rather than creating a welcoming and supportive environment for expecting parents, we felt judged and uncomfortable. We left the store feeling disappointed and disrespected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Thurrock store or its consultation service to others. I hope this feedback encourages the management to provide better training for staff on customer engagement, professionalism, and how to deliver a respectful and informative consultation experience.

   I had a wonderful experience at Mamas & Papas Lakeside thanks to the amazing customer service from Geena and Shenise. They were both incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, making the whole process of buying for our baby so much easier and stress-free. Their friendly approach and genuine care really stood out – I left feeling confident and excited about our purchases. Thank you both for such a lovely experience!

   Lots of help from a lovely lady called Georgina yesterday! As first time parents we had no clue, she helped us pick what we wanted and price things up ! She wasn't pushy at all and understood we was just trying to make a list first ! We now know what pram, car seat , carrier, bottles, prep machines and more....we will be purchasing from them. We left having a lot of questions answered! Thanks again :)

   Thank you Georgia for the most amazing help on our buying for baby sessions. We had two sessions. Georgia was extremely knowledgeable and friendly helping us make the right decisions for our family. Georgia went above and beyond after recognising our names when we booked in for a second time. We had a few issues with an item we ordered online. Georgia called us and arranged for us to come back in on a day she was available to review the item together. Georgia arranged the refund and helped us order all our nursery furniture. We have booked back in for another day with Georgia to choose a pram. Thank you very much Georgia. You are an asset to Mamas and Papas! Samantha and Mitchell.

   Be really careful ordering from this store. They put in an order for a car seat that they don’t and won’t be be stocking anymore. So they had our money for about a month and it was only because we chased the order the day before we were told that it was due to be delivered that we found out it would never be arriving. If we hadn’t chased it I don’t believe they would ever have picked this up. An update to this and the situation gets even worse. We ordered the car seat from a different shop, and it turns out it doesn’t fit our base, so the car seat we were told to buy to be compatible with the base we took to Mamas and Papas Lakeside for a consultation with their staff is wrong and doesn’t fit. Just avoid this place altogether. If you end up getting what you order it may well be wrong anyway! Good job we did this relatively far in advance or we could have been in trouble.
