Visited here with my hubby for an appointment, very pleased with the service which was excellent. We would recommend, staff are lovely, friendly professional, seen on time, my husband was very pleased with the care he received.
I am giving this place a 1 because I have to. It doesn't deserve 1. It's taken over 6 weeks to get my results back. The surgery told me not home back I left this for another 5 weeks to be told not back and then.askrd if I was sure I went for the scan. They gave ME a number to CHASE my results which I did and guess what they were sent to the surgery on the 23/07/2025 @ 10.53am. They sent them again so I rang and now they can't give me the results as the doctor needs to ring me. Disgusting service by the surgery,incompetence at its best. I am now making a complaint against this whole mess. Scary thought that theynare suppose to be looking after us. On a positive note kay on the desk was lovely and she helped by finding number for me. Think its time to find a surgery who actually care
I had a very disappointing experience at Glodwick Primary Care Centre. I arrived just 2 minutes late for a scan appointment, and the staff refused to see me. I tried to explain my situation, but the person doing the scans was extremely rude and dismissive. There was no understanding or flexibility, even though I had made the effort to attend. This lack of compassion and professionalism left me feeling upset and disrespected. I hope the management looks into how patients are treated—especially those who may be running slightly late for reasons beyond their control.
Called in this afternoon to give a blood sample for a routine health check. Now I'm not ordinarily phased by anything medical, but when it comes to giving blood, think 'Tony Hancock, The Blood Donor' (look it up on YouTube - comedy genius). Anyway, long story short, the Practice Nurse, Caron, was absolutely marvellous - put me completely at ease. Took the blood from the back of my hand - done and dusted within a matter of minutes. Can't praise her enough!
Not very happy at all with this doctors within the hour of booking an appointment for me and my mum we both got messages saying they were cancelled due to illness, which is perfectly understandable but why not call another doctor to replace instead of cancellations my mum has a chest infection and needs antibiotics and now has to wait until Monday for another appointment. Not happy.
Terrible don't send results to gp after requesting them twice wouldn't go here again absolute shambles
Trying to get an appointment to see the nurse for a b12 injection to be told no appointments for a month is a joke as the nurse is off surely they should be covered when there on leave
Waste of time! Had many experiences in the past of not doing there job properly and especially keeping lines busy all the time no matter how long you be trying to ring them.
Why is it every time i phone and make appointment no one picks up and when they do. no appointments phone at 8 oclock.
Well what can i say? This is a group medical practitioners premises. Not sure how many doctors practise at this Glodwich branch of the NHS but from my experience i would say there's at least about 3/4 doctors within. Apart from that i get the feeling that other forms of medical practises specialising in things like skin problems, muscular discomforts, various types of blood testing, heart issues, and so on so forth occupy seperate sections of these premises on certain days of the average week. This place generally speaking is very very well organised. However the "only" grumble i would put forward is associated with the essential ongoing distribution of regular repeatprescriptons. Occasionaly From time to time when a patient visits their local pharmacy to collect their repeat prescription its not ready on the date given because the request thats sent from the surgery has been overlooked. Something seemingly so simple as this as you can imagine in extreme circumstances could be problematic where a vital medication is delayed getting to the patient. Thankfully its not from personal experience seen to be that frequent in occurances.
