    This is NOT an urgent care centre. It’s listed on the NHS website and the google Map that it is, but it’s a GP and physio. You cannot get urgent care here. The very helpful staff have tried to change this on google and the NHS but without success. Repeat: this is NOT an urgent care centre.

    My husband attended this clinic today (not my usual clinic) having used the central service to have some stitches removed. Very surly receptionist who was on the phone when we arrived. By the time she’d finished the call he was 5 mins overdue for the appointment. She rudely said “you’re late but I’ll see if the nurse will see you anyway!” Very poor service. My husband has Stage 4 lung cancer and is accustomed to the wonderful staff at Christie so the attitude of this very rude member of staff came as quite a shock. Thank goodness it’s not our local clinic.

    a standard clinic with a multitude of wonderful NHS services, the staff are obviously dedicated and overworked. They were kind, friendly and definitely hardworking

    This is not my local clinic, so finding it was something of a problem. It is on the main A6 and there are no obvious signs outside the building to indicate what the building actually is. There is no indication of where one may park either, so having driven around for 30 mins up and down the A6 and surrounding streets, asking people, who were also not aware, of its location, I can say it was a very stressful venture. Not one I should wish to repeat, but since this is only one of the few clinics in Stockport offering Wound management, it may be inevitable.
