If you want to see a GP, my perception is that there is a system in place to obfuscate and delay to make this as difficult as possible. I'm not sure what changed at CH medical but a simple request of "can I see a GP?" seems to nigh on impossible to navigate. Its a demoralising, frustrating experience.

I change to ch medical when my doctor block lane closed down thankgod horribly unless doctors that was. and I can honestly say it's the best thing I've done I have had great experiences with ch medical always listened to, prompt appointments when done threw online triage and always feel looked after

Absolutely shocking doctors. Never had a problem in my life asking or explaining something. Should have had a copd test but unfortunately I missed the appointment due to not receiving a text reminder. So I rang up and the LADY I spoke to was very rude, very unprofessional. Then I was told I had to reschedule from the Start basically. Then my mum orders her repeat prescription and they have no clue what her full order is. Shocking!! She’s a very poorly lady who needs her meds. Plus I’m really ill also may I had. NOT ON!!

I have been with this surgery for over 30 yrs even before they were at this location. I have generally had a very good experience with them. From the receptionists. Nurses and Doctors. Most of them are very helpfulness and efficient. I would not want to change to another practice. 1

I absolutely Despise this practice, been with them for a decade , so trust me, it’s not one or two incidents It’s a culmination of 10 years of useless service . I’ve always been at least 30 minutes early yet they keep me waiting a minimum of 40 minutes to over an hour (yes I know the NHS is stretched but it’s their all round lazy can’t be bothered attitude ) Actually calculated I’ve been sat waiting for over 8 hrs past the time I have had an appointment due - appointment times mean nothing obviously! That excludes how early I always got there I’m trying to have checks to rule out cancer , they never followed up , they said they called back twice - they didn’t ,they rang once for a couple Seconds , where I couldn’t even get to my phone that fast . You can’t return the call and they never followed it up So it was left for me to chase them as always today I finally get in -yet again I’m early and I counted 9 people go in before me despite them appearing to come on time . My brother in law is a paramedic and said it’s important to get checked out , but CH Medical don’t do anything correctly . This is a culmination of a decade of horrific service where they didn’t diagnose my knee properly (for years they got it wrong and a private specialist figured it out in 30 seconds)and , didn’t give a toss when I was in a car accident not of my doing . Then there is one of the OTT receptionists he shouts out what’s going on so the whole surgery’s patients can hear what their personal problems are . Zero tact or discretion The worst thing though was when I was kept waiting for 1hr 35 after my supposed time slot (again I was early )to walk through to a the doctor laughing at something on his Samsung (I won’t name him because my wife actually says he’s excellent with our children ) and he told me to “hurry up” that was the same week I lost my father and was struggling to cope with my sons kidney issues. They don’t care , they don’t follow up and it’s been a miserable stressful and horrid experience from day one Ill be advising anyone who will listen not to go here also They even made appointments on the 2nd of October , Sent me a reminder the day before so I organised leaving work which meant losing money and childcare - they cancelled ONE HOUR before the appointment.

Never had a problem with CH medical until today and i have been at the practice for 16 years. I have just called for an update on my referral and the receptionist was quite rude and uncaring, she couldnt care less....more compassion is needed here.

Gets a message to make a appointment and it takes them almost 5 min's to answer the phone. Then I'm giving my details and the receptionist is shouting down the phone can you hear me when the noise was coming from where they where . I asked for them to quieten the noise down only to be told someone is on the other phone. Totally unprofessional, think it's time to look elsewhere.

I would personally like to thank DR GILL for the wonderful treatment I received for this excellent GP , I would say he is one of the best in the country, but not forgetting all the doctors at CH medical practice,( But) it can't be said for the management of the medical practice very bad attitudes and hostile towards patients and the incompetence of the receptionist and the complaints manager, taking on a higher roll than they a not qualified to do so, they think they are doctors and nurses and should remember this when dealing with the public, people lives are at stake, so apart from the great doctor's of a failing surgery. they make there own rules up you have a duty of care of patients who are unsatisfied, long standing patients like myself for mismanagement on a big scale, i would suggest the NHS england should concider putting this surgery management under special measures and investigate there patients complaints. How can a sugery take on more patients from st chads surgery that closed then invite over 3 thousands patients to register when they cannot cope with their own patients and Unregistering long term family patients even though th NHS England says you don't have to be in the same a achachtement area it seems one rule for one and another rule when is suits the surgery management even though the ( GP) said they are willing to keep the patient on the books but then to be overuled by the management as they did to me and my family giving 4 weeks to get another surgery and that they will (stop) all medications 16 tablets a day, even if I cannot get another gp to take me on they said they refuse to give me anymore medications even though this could kill me,we do have proof of this/, they are constantly missing patients/ my medications NHS England need to intervene and training should be upgraded or better still repacing the management very bad management service, we all can't be wrong, (AVOID)

Recently joined over from St Chads as I wanted to stay with Dr. J Moore (FANTASTIC doctor) had no issues, always helpful and polite. Always manage to get quick appointment within the week and seen triage on the day for emergency's

I've been coming to this GP surgery for around 2 years. They've always been helpful and I've always managed to get an appointment (which was a surprise from my last GP). However, I recently had to call them about a private referral in which the Dr wrote down the wrong address, and now they've told me I have 30 days to leave as my addresses don't match. I sobbed down the phone to the receptionist (who had less empathy and compassion than a teaspoon) and explained my severe medical anxiety and how much of a struggle this was going to be, all over a simple mistake, and they could not care less. To be honest, if this is how they treat people with severe anxiety and depression, maybe it is better if I leave.
