After checking the prices for a stop/start battery the price was brilliant too. Thanks guys. (George didn’t catch the other gents name but he was very helpful.

   I was in today to grab a dashcam. Asked a nice guy on the way in about using the toilet so I could concentrate on my purchase and the fine details. He said there was one in the back, then asked the guy on the till about the details of the location. He didn't look up, he shouted back about how I needed to go to the train station. Lovely. I had to leave. The guy didn't seem interested in helping out at all - even when it was obvious I was working with a sense of urgency. I understand policies but you can be kind to customers by choice sometimes, right?

   I bought a new car battery recently from Halfords. I didn't have to order it in advance, I had help choosing the correct battery for my car. I didn't realise at first that it's a different battery for start/stop engines. So that's something new I learned!! The gentleman who helped me choose the correct battery also fitted it for a nominal price. I had arrived and left within 30 minutes. Superb service with a smile too.

   Great service, really fast and friendly. I had gone to an independent shop locally to get a windscreen wiper blade but was informed they only did boxes of 2 and did not fit them (so much for support local businesses). Went to Halfords in Worksop as it is on my way home from the train station and they had just what I wanted, fitting service as I have never done one before and the service was friendly and quick and cheaper than supply only at my local shop. On my way again in a few minutes. Would highly recommend these guys.

   I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Worksop branch. I went to get new light bulbs for my side indicator and for above my reg plate. I was told that they wouldn’t change the indicator light as they might damage the casing. Then when the older gentleman tried to change my reg plate light he didn’t know what he was doing but couldn’t get it working. He then went on to say “bloody French!”As my car is a Renault. He then said I should just get rid of it! I have had my car for over 8 years and it is nearly 14 years old. It’s only recently I have been having trouble locating parts for it. I do not have the money to replace my car and did not appreciate being treated like this. I will not use Halfords in the future.

   Went in to buy something ,waited at the till for 5 minutes while cashier was dealing with some customer who was looking for something on his phone. Two other employs came to look. No one acknowledged the customers waiting or attempted to help. I put my item down and left. If they can not be bothered I am sure I can't. Go to motor factors from now on. I know Halfords don't care but it will make me feel better.
