   Avoid !! Booked shoulder scan online for 11am. After reading reviews rang at 10am to confirm booking turned up at 11am after 1 hour drive to be greeted by gentleman in casual clothes who went to speak to reception in another language and then I was informed by receptionist that no one was available to do my scan until after 4pm !! She lied and said they had tried to call me to cancel which was untrue. The building looks so scruffy so booked elsewhere avoid at all cost completely wasted my time. How they have been given permission by cqc to practice is troubling.

   After years of being dismissed and left in pain, I finally found help at Mediscan. I’ve been here twice over the past 16 months, and both times the consultant found and clearly reported on the source of my pain and swelling—findings that my NHS doctor overlooked and ignored, and in some cases, even covered up. Mediscan took my symptoms seriously, especially when others wouldn’t. The staff were kind, professional, and they actually listened—something I had almost given up on. I finally feel like I’m being taken seriously and moving toward proper treatment. Thank you, Mediscan, for giving me hope again. I know this pain and swelling are real and serious and nearly cost me my life 3 times, and I’m exhausted from being told “everything is fine” when it clearly isn’t. I Highly recommend mediscan and I will be back for more tests. They're a team you can trust and wont waist your time or money. Thank you for all your help.

   Booked online for an appointment at 1pm. On arrival I was told the consultant wasn't in the building but would be back at 4pm so I booked in again this time for 5pm. When I was 5 minutes away they rang me to tell me the consultant was dealing with an emergency and wouldn't be available till about 7pm. Don't waste your time going to this place, I have found places with more reasonable prices and hopefully won't be turned away twice in a day.

   Not worth the money. The place was all locked up when I arrived!! This was after they changed my appointment time. Had to sit and wait for over 30 minutes ( when they finally opened the door) waiting for someone to do my scan. When the guy arrived it was like I was inconveniencing him. The woman there was lovely but didn't have clue what she was doing. Scan was very fast, with a few images taken. Then he walked off taking constantly in a different language. I don't trust the scan he did and felt like he was avoiding the chance that something was wrong. This was Ashton and I'll never use the service again.

   Horrible staff very rude, insensitive and patronising. I was told to ‘hurry up other people are waiting’ when putting my clothes back on, treated as an inconvenience not a patient. Why would anyone want this service especially if they’re going through a miscarriage/possible ectopic pregnancy as if it’s not traumatic enough. I would definitely avoid. UPDATE: 2 months later, after brushing me off and saying ‘this is why I didn’t want to do an internal ultrasound on you because there is nothing there’ after a shoddy examination. LUCKILY I didn’t trust the garbage examination and I went to the hospital 2 DAYS LATER due to the pain. It turns out I had a mass and needed to be hospitalised and was in and out of the hospital for a month and a half. Incompetent to say the least, if I had trusted what the idiots said I could have lost my life.

   Cancelled my appointment day before. No reason given...just told they have been told to cancel all appointments. Apparently I have to contact my GP to rearrange but can't even get them to answer phone as just a prerecorded message (Churchgate in Denton!). Can't fill in an online query as not taking anymore appointment requests today. Tried ringing mediscan back on number on original appt letter....all numbers unavailable!! What a terrible service!!! It was supposed to be an urgent 2 week appt. And I booked a day off work especially

   My husband went for an ultrasound here . The female 'health care assistant' (used loosely) whilst doing the scan, asked my husband if his feeding peg was his 'pacemaker'. Also not a very tolerant person. Then she couldn't find his kidneys etc during the scan & had to call in her colleague to continue the scan. Not good.

   I am STILL awaiting a refund after more than 2 weeks. I cancelled an appointment with Mediscan well within their published deadline. The appointment was cancelled on 29 Dec and I am still awaiting the refund (it’s now 14 Jan), despite numerous emails and telephone calls. AVOID if your situation changes and you need to change or cancel an appointment

   For a start the waiting room isn’t socially distanced. I sat down and moved my chair but was still within a meter of the person next to me. No reception or any way to check in you just sit and hope for the best. Waited 40 mins Before anyone came out. Got into the scan room and was seen by 2 ladies that made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Was there for a pain in my stomach but she roughly shoved the Doppler so far into my underwear it was unnecessary. Wouldn’t go there again and doctor referring me somewhere else for a second opinion
