I was there on Sunday afternoon 9th November 2025 about 1:30-2pm to collect the items I purchased online. The staff who attended to me was extremely rude. I showed her all the proof of purchase which she asked for rudely,l. Then ordered me to stand aside no please or any polite communication required of someone that deals with customers. She spoke in such a commanding tone that I felt like I was being ordered around which made me very uncomfortable. Her colleague brought out my parcel on her instructions and placed it on the counter where she was. She just ignored while I stood there. After a few minutes I picked up the parcel and walked to her and said this is my parcel. She said abruptly “can I see your ID I said sure brought out my passport. She looked at it longer than necessary and just gave it back. I took my parcel and left I love to shop from JD and others I’ve met in the past were kind but this particular lady
The staff were quite unapproachable and gave the impression that customers were unwelcome. I visited the store intending to purchase a pair of shoes, but when I asked for my size, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. I ultimately decided to leave without making a purchase. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Justina . She is very passionate about her job. She is more than a sales rep. You can see her care not just to sale but to meet clients need, to help through the purchase. Very patient with clients and professional. Thank you so much Justina.
This one sweetheart on the tills, very short with glasses and pimple patches was such a summer breeze. She was filled with warm energy and was socialising with me very nicely. Would recommend this store to anyone. The store is lucky to have such a brilliant worker like her.
The overall service of the floor staff was very good. I was served by a fairly young guy in his twenties I think from an Asian background I think he said his name was Abdullah very polite and knowledgeable. However I wasn’t impressed by one lady who appeared to be a manager on duty quite tall and dressed in her own clothes. She seemed quite rude and I felt rushed to move around the store and pay, from someone who has worked in the retail industry this is not how a manager should behave and I honestly found this behaviour disgraceful. Great service, however I do not know why I couldn’t have my parcel delivered to my choice of store as I am going there later this week. You have a JD Sports in The Chimes in Uxbridge. I even put the post code in. However, what ever I put in, full address, post code, Slough came up every time as my nearest store. I know I can go in Uxbridge as I have gone there before, so instead I had to pay postage for home delivery as I couldn’t be bothered to try any more. That’s why I put 4 stars and not 5.
Great store for Shoes, sneakers, hoodies, jackets and many more things. Excellent staff and a very diverse variety of shoes available!
