Waste of time trying to get an appointment at this place phoned for an appointment this morning was already over 30 in the queue arranged for a call back to be told there's nothing left call again tomorrow didn't even ask why I needed an appointment and was told there was still over 30 in the queue for today

My Daughter arrived at 7:45am to start queuing on Wednesday morning 11/06/25 She was the 8th person in the queue how inconvenient and ridiculous having to queue like cattle just to get an appointment for blood results! Told the day before to ring at 8am (What a Joke as it’s virtually impossible to get through and when you do all the appointments have all ready gone) No NHS App allowing appointments to be booked just so poor and outdated system and all you get from the receptionist is l can under stand your frustration but unfortunately this is our system. On a positive note at least it was a sunny morning and not raining………

phoned up this morning bang on 8am and continued to spam for the phone for around 5 minutes as i kept being told theyre closed. i finally got through at 8.17 just to be 14th caller!!! this is an absolute joke. im so mad. not only this but i have been begging to be put on medication for my debilitating anxiety and have been told β€œno” multiple times because im β€œunder 18” but im also being told theres no point waiting for cahms to give me this medication as ill probably be 18 by the time i get off their waitlist. however, i know multiple people who are younger than me or were younger than me when given medication?? ive also been on birth control for a year and 4 months and have not been called in once to have my blood pressure checked. further i went to pick up a prescription from the chemist which was ordered a week ago to be told it has been ordered but they hadnt sent it over to the chemist!!?

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by this doctors' practice. They constantly change the person who sees you, meaning you're never given consistent care. Each doctor has a different opinion, and it feels like no one actually listens or takes the time to properly address your concerns. It's nearly impossible to get an appointment, and when you do, you're either dismissed without proper treatment or left to manage serious illnesses or conditions on your own. The lack of continuity and care is unacceptable, and it leaves patients feeling helpless and unsupported. This is not the level of care anyone deserves.

I have been with this practice most of my life and the staff are really great. I have never had a bad experience with anyone. In the past its been hard getting through on the phone but since Patchs was introduced I use that for most things. If i've really struggled or had any emergency i have been sorted so quickly. Can't fault the staff at all.

Called for an appointment on Monday. Not had to use the surgery for years. Receptionist was very unhelpful. I couldn't get an appointment and can't ring at 8am as I'm at work. Eventually, they arranged an appointment for Saturday morning at a different surgery. I arrived at the other surgery this morning, to be told Woodside had cancelled my appointment, but they haven't informed me. How is this acceptable? Feels like some kind of sick practical joke. Nowhere on the website for complaints either.

my daughter had an appointment for the nasal flu vaccine for weeks, we received a reminder txt which was fine, my daughter went to the centre and was told that they hadn't got any flu vaccine to give her and what they did have was out of date and the Nurse hadn't turned up. when i rang to ask why all this had happened, i was told " all i can do is apologies" this is a disgrace, call yourself a doctors, when you don't even know what you have available or what's in date, it doesn't instill confidence in the practice or the staff. I am absolutely fuming about this treatment. I asked had more been ordered and the answer was yes but it wont arrive until the new year now, what another joke.....it makes me wonder why we have practices, it takes you ages to get an appointment when you do actually need one and then when you do get one they don't have the medics to administer. what an absolute joke of a practice and the staff well what can i say.....i am at a loss for words... this practice needs to be looked in to..... This is my elderly dad's surgery.Although it can be a challenge to get through, once i have they have been fantastic.Polite and concerned receptionist who listens to your concerns and escalates to a GP,even if its late in the day who rang me back within 10minutes.Dad always manages to see a GP on the day he rings up.Thank you so much for always making time for my dad.

On this occasion I was pleased with the care I received for my 3yr old. I contacted surgery numerous of times at 8am (to be expected), I eventually got through to a very helpful lady at reception, provided her with my child’s symptoms and she asked me if I could go to the surgery now, I got there within 10 minutes. I was seen straight away by Dr Brady (a wonderful Dr of many years), he completed the necessary checks and gave me a prescription. I can honestly say I already have noticed a difference within 48hrs, my child is eating, interacting and back to their active self. The Dr’s at this surgery are superb! Best around. I moved GP when I moved out of the area and I was disappointed compared to Woodside Medical, moved back to the area and came back to Woodside Medical Centre. On this occasion I could not fault the reception desk service, it felt like old times, previously the reception desk team was patronising, rude and didn’t care for patients. Keep up the great work Woodside Medical Centre I noticed a difference.
