Cheadle priory you truly have caused me more trauma than I came in with. I've been on 3 wards here , 2 of which have closed down now and they were both horrific . The one I'm on now , don't get me wrong the OT and psychology are amazing , but many of the staff (not all) are rude , trigger me on purpose, don't follow care plans , make comments on my weight even though I have a diagnosis of an eating disorder . They will talk about my incidents in front of other patients , will argue with me and shout at me . I found out they have been illegally giving me medications against my will for the last 7 months , and nobody told me it was illegal until last week . Complaints don't go anywhere in this hospital and honestly I give up , there's many more flaws that I won't share on here , but If you are a commissioner reading this considering sending a patient to this hospital, I do not recommend .

My nephew has been in here over a week and is worse now than when he went in. He needs meds ASAP and alot more support than he is getting at the moment. The feedback is also ridiculous. His poor mother and family members are besides themselves with worry and have no idea what's happening. I understand mental health is a very difficult illness to deal with but the rapid deterioration in him is a huge cause for concern as it seems not alot is being done to slightly improve his state of mind

Disgusting place, the staff are rude the ward is unsafe the kitchen is unlocked and broken glass everywhere and you call this therapeutic treatment (forcing me meds, stripping my room and locking me in a room for 3 weeks) This Place is vile and should close. I was also told I was an attention seeker and that i was behaving like an autistic child then they restrained me leaving me covered in bruises. The staff don't care or listen to you and they treat you like a prisoner making my mental health worse NHS IS BETTER DO NOT WASTE MONEY GOING HERE

Saw Doris F. Once a week for several weeks. She is extremely helpful and has helped to sort out many issues. She listens to what I'm saying and offers practical solutions. Thank you Doris! P.s. Free coffee in the waiting area was nice. Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was that the chairs weren't as comfortable as I might have hoped!

My experience in one of the specific psychiatric units was shocking. No one seemed to know what they were doing, total lack of communication and complete shambles. I could have brought anything harmful in with me but no one checked!? Massive safeguarding issues.

You have blood on your hands that you can never wash off. Rest in eternal peace Beth and all the others who’s lives were needlessly snuffed out in a place where they were supposed to be safe and receiving care.

Daughter in..safeguarding issue a while ago..staff didn't know who were patients, who were staff. Threatened to throw my daughter out because we complained. Daughter now sectioned 1 to 1 support she called me last night struggling ..staff ASLEEP AND SNORING in her room, we have video, complained, throwing her out again for daring to mention it. Safeguarding is a big issue and then blame patients when you dare to complain. Feel so sorry for the good staff..

Unprofessional from the start. I went for an interview and was told I would be informed either way on the day or by next week. Nothing from them at all. I was the most well dressed of interviewers and my interviews are always succesfull. The lady interviewing me must have felt I was too good for the role as she was eyeing my designer handbag and my attire. Well I wouldn't take a job here after the unprofessional behaviours. The place doesn't have good reviews anyway.
