Nope. Some of the staff are really nice but what needs to be working doesn't. I needed meds for sth and they told me 1 week or call a bigger clinic. Called another clinic and got my therapy the next day, no fuss, no need to explain what and why as I had to with them (all info they need is available on their online systems). They are just not reliable at all unfortunately ...
Booked a PreP assessment online via Northern Sexual Health, appointment made within 24 hours. The person I saw was very friendly and knowledgeable, was able to get medication there on the spot after some testing. Very quick, easy and they made me feel understood and very comfortable! Remember mostly those who are upset will leave reviews, people with good experiences often forget to, hopefully this one helps alleviate people’s concerns!
Why have a phone number that never works? It's ridiculous. Just tell people to come in person to book appointments rather than deceiving people with a phone number that never works.
Phone is never answered - it either immediately disconnects you or rings out. Been trying to get an appointment for weeks, will have to go down as unfortunately this is the only clinic "nearby" who offer the services I need.
Attended my first antenatal scan and midwife appointment here. All the staff were absolutely lovely and so efficient. Even though we arrived early, we were seen very quickly and the whole process was unbelievably smooth and straightforward with minimal wait times. Looking forward to our next visit!
I agree with the other reviews about calling on the phone. It took me about 25 times over a few days to get through to book my appointment for an implant exchange. However, once I was at the appointment Donna was absolutely lovely, I listened to music to try and relax as I was a bit anxious. She made the procedure as quick as possible, it took maybe 5 minutes altogether. I'm so happy with how it all went and thank you to Donna for being for friendly, it can be quite a nerve wracking appointment and she really did make me feel at ease.
Awful. Can’t ever get through the reception or to your midwife. It’s caused me so much stress over the past few weeks (which is not what you need) impossible to get registered with them, you follow all the advice and forms your given between them and st Mary’s and it’s never actioned. You have to do all the organisation and chasing, which is hard when it’s your first baby and you don’t know what appointments you should be having. They never ever ever answer the phone and you can never ever arrange or speak to anyone for any of the basic appointments you’re supposed to have. Lots of women are getting a poor quality of maternity care because they are understaffed and do not do what they are supposed to do. I registered at 3 weeks pregnant and I still haven’t been contacted by them and I’m 12 weeks now. I called multiple times and even managed to get through once to speak to someone who said they would call me back, and never did. I wish I could go somewhere else but there’s no choice because it’s off postcode.
I want to give a massive thank you to Nurses Val and Donna. They were so kind, friendly, and most of all reassuring when I explained I was anxious about the procedure I was getting. They helped me relax the whole time, and made the experience as easy as possible. These two are an absolute credit to the service and NHS as a whole.
So like many people have said, getting through on the phone is a bit of a challenge, but once you've gotten past that it's amazing. I had nurse Val look after me at my appointment and she was so wonderful, made me feel incredibly comfortable, talked me through everything and was obviously so knowledgeable. Fantastic patient care! Thank you so much Val and team :)
