   Having my first ever implant! The stage I had worried about the most turned out to be surprisingly smooth. My gums were prepared carefully, and every step was explained as it happened. The team ensured I was comfortable throughout, checking on me constantly and using modern techniques that kept discomfort to an absolute minimum. Healing was quicker than I expected, and I was given simple, easy-to-follow aftercare instructions. I felt supported the whole time, and the reassurance from the team made a world of difference.    I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amit. His work has been meticulous through a long process to get my two implants completed today. I have always had realistic expectations due to my previous drug therapy for osteoporosis but Amit certainly surpassed them. Being able to see new strong bone after my bone graft on CT scan was wonderful. I can’t thank you enough Amit!

   Wonderful experience. You will not regret going here. Amit and the team are the loveliest people ever. Straight from the reception a friendly greeting, she is conversational and after a while grow a connection. The other dentist working alongside Amit is so kind she is attentive and makes the experience so lovely by helping with passing a tissue or offering kind words. Amit himself made all my worries go by the thorough communication and the friendly banter between us. Such a clean environment and 100000% recommend. Miss all of them.❤️

   Genuine Implant Expert With a Very Calm Reassuring Manner I am a keen brass player, having spent over 30 years playing in Championship Section brass bands. Due to a rugby injury in my youth , I had been playing for most of that time with a bridged front tooth. Just over a year ago, the lateral incisor to which my front tooth was bridged suddenly snapped off. I was now missing two teeth (one front and one lateral incisor). This obviously made playing a brass instrument virtually impossible. My regular dentist was not prepared to tackle implants due to the bone loss that had occurred over 20+ years from the missing front tooth. He also told me that there was an ‘unusual’ nerve passing through the bone in my upper jaw which an implant might sever, causing loss of feeling in my upper lip. This petrified me and I really thought my brass playing days had come to an end. My Practice said although they weren’t prepared to do the implant themselves, they could refer me to an implant specialist… Amit Patel at Birmingham Dental Specialists . Amit did his own scans, and immediately reassured me that implants were going to be possible. He presented various options involving varying levels of bone graft and width of implant. When I dithered over the options, he took charge and recommended using thinner implants which meant they could be placed at the same time as a minimal bone graft, speeding up the whole process. A year on, I couldn’t be happier. My embouchure quickly recovered once the implants were in and within a couple of months my playing was back to normal. Whilst the process is not without some discomfort, this is very quickly forgotten once you have 2 ‘real’ teeth again. Quite apart from enabling me to continue my hobby, the appearance and function of the implants is perfect ! You very quickly forget that they’re not real teeth. Amit is clearly an absolute expert in his field and I couldn’t recommend BDS highly enough. He and his team are very welcoming, friendly and reassuring, making the whole process as painless as it could possibly be. If you are considering implants, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a consultation with Birmingham Dental Specialists.

   I did my research and Amit is the best in the business relating to implants, the service I have received has been gold star all the way, from making the initial appointment with Andrea the professional polite receptionist, to meeting Admit and his lovely smiley dental nurse. I am so pleased with my new implants and the care I have received was outstanding, Amit doesn’t apply any pressure about treatment required and takes everything at your pace. Totally remarkable how he remembers to ask after my husband and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

   I was referred to BDS by my dentist for treatment for loss of bone between my front teeth. Amir made a full examination of my teeth and gums, including all the relevant x rays. The treatment plan was fully explained and my treatment was completed quickly and painlessly. I was shown before and after pictures of how my bone had regrown, and expert advice on cleaning and caring for my gums as well as my teeth. Throughout my treatment I found Amir and all his staff caring professional and knowledgeable. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I can recommend this practice to anybody looking for specialised dental treatment.

   I was referred to Amit and his team by my orthodontist for some gum removal treatment. From the start of my treatment to the end Amit and his team was very professional, knowledgeable and honest! He also showed me how to look after my gums to ensure they remain healthy. Amit talked me through the plan and what the procedure entailed In such depth and made sure I understood. The gum removal was painless, and the after care was easily managed with next to no discomfort. I was given a follow up appointment to ensure all was well and I was happy. I am so pleased I was referred to Amit as it’s such a personal thing you never know who to go to for such procedures. I would recommend Amits practice to anybody looking for gum removal or any oral needs for that matter, as you are In highly experienced hands!
