Rubbish company to get an account with. Nobody got back to me, I chased 3 times and gave up. If you rent premises and can't provide a utility bill they "can't" set you an account up because they "can't" credit check you. We have many accounts with other suppliers and purchase assets over 100k and have been credited checked.

We spend lots of money on parts within our BodyShop group TPS sent us a wrong wheel for a vehicle we returned it in the box in new condition , we are still waiting for our credit note . We spoken to James who is most unhelpful to ask for our credit note who is now telling us the wheel came back damaged even though they have had it back a month and no credit note will be given . Stay clear poor service .
Just phoned up to enquire about the price for some parts and was told they don't deal with private sales. I've been a mechanic for 34 years and still involved in the motor trade but I'm not allowed to order parts through work.
I have been dealing with TPS for years and never had a problem, or been told this was against their business model. I am a fully qualified mechanic but do not run my own garage. Today, after trying to buy a part for a VW, I have been told TPS only deal with garages !!! - after a "tightening up of their practices". Perhaps they should also look at dealing with long term loyal customers within their new working practices. I rang the number in the reply, and spoke to someone who said he did not understand the message I received to call them back and discuss it (it's not hard to understand is it), and rather sarcastically told me they are called Trade Parts Specialists for a reason !!. He just kept saying he "didn't understand" how I had been able to deal with the company for years, and when I said that was the case and surely I had been a good customer in that time - he did not answer. My call back was a waste of time, it seems VW no longer want the average person to maintain there own cars.
Its better range of Audi parts also a lot cheaper than going to dealers. Especially if you are fleet owner or even commercial vehicle owner.
Best place for VAG parts when you need them quick 90% of the time the products are in stock and they are cheaper than the main dealer. Have used them multiple time already and will continue to do so when I needs parts. This is where the main dealers actually get there parts from to start with so cut out the middle man and use TPS.
