   The referral process was extremely frustrating. I had a private filling after a dental check and needed an oral surgery via the NHS. I informed the clinic from the beginning that I was moving and needed a referral to a different hospital, yet they sent it to Birmingham NHS Trust anyway. After updating them, they told me I should contact the NHS to transfer it. The NHS Trust said the dentist was responsible for the transfer, but the clinic then claimed they couldn’t process it and suggested I redo the check locally, which could take months due to the long waiting list. Even after coordinating with the new NHS Trust, the referral was rejected because of a missing OPG X-ray, forcing me to go to another private dentist to get it done. The process took over six weeks, and I had to do most of the chasing myself. It feels like the clinic prioritises private services over the patient’s well-being.

   Been a patient for a few years. Tried calling recently a few times and keep getting a voicemail. Despite leaving a message with my details every single time I'm yet to get any sort of response. So many dentists near me aren't taking new patients, it's a shame I can't rely on my usual practice.

   Dr David Henderson is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been one of his patients for more than 24 years and all my visits have been very positive. He is fantastic with kids, all of my children love going to there regular check ups. In fact this week I took my 10 year old to his check up and he stayed with me for my appointment. Dr Henderson took his time to explain to my son and talk him through the procedure that he was doing. He was so good and so patient eventhough my son had too many questions. When we got out of the surgery, my son said that he wanted to be a dentist just like Dr Henderson.
