Very timely and fast service I only waited twenty minutes after opening to be seen. I have anxiety so Nina helped me by letting me know when the dentist was free and didn’t seem to mind I kept popping out. My cavities which were five, were all filled within the week so a lot faster than other experiences and now I have a confident smile with no bad breath.

On 24/09/2026, I had an appointment for my 6-year-old son (Rami Dennis) at New Town Dentist after being referred by our regular dentist. The referral was for possible sedation, as my son is quite fidgety and anxious during dental treatments. I took my son out of school for this appointment, but unfortunately, we had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with the dentist, Avayomi. From the beginning, it was clear that my son was extremely nervous and scared, yet the dentist showed no understanding or skill in communicating with children. When I asked him to remove my son’s loose baby tooth, I specifically requested that he not show the tools to avoid frightening him. Despite this, he held up a large clipper tool and told my son, “I’m going to take your tooth out,” showing him the tool directly. My son became terrified, dragged himself to the end of the chair, and was visibly traumatised. I was shocked and upset at how unprofessional and insensitive this behaviour was. In my experience, most dentists are gentle with children—hiding tools and using calm, reassuring language. Sadly, this was not the case here. I left the appointment extremely frustrated. The next day, I called the practice and asked to speak with the manager. The receptionist took my number but no one ever called me back, which only made the experience worse. Overall, I am very disappointed with how we were treated. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and ensures their staff receive proper training on how to communicate

My experience at Newtown Dental Practice was unfortunately an extremely bad one. The female dentist I was seen by (Fariba Younes) was incredibly condescending and rude. She speaks down upon you and does not treat you well and kept mentioning how she does not treat NHS patients usually and is just helping out today (Not sure what that has to do with the patient?) Incredibly rude, incredibly nasty and arrogant she was. She said a root canal to save my tooth was not possible and that it would have to be taken out. When I mentioned I dont mind paying to get treatment done faster then all of a sudden my other fillings were bad and needed replacing, something my new dentist has said is not true as they are solid and no decay around them. I since joined a new practice (Edgbaston Dental Centre), they are very very nice, welcoming and caring. They have given me root canal treatment to save my tooth. Horrible dentists should seize practicing if they do not treat patients well and don't want to deal with patients! I've put 2 stars because at least the receptionist was nice! I will be raising this to the QCC and GDC.

I visited Newtown Dental clinic on 9th September. I observed both receptionists (male and female) to be very helpful and respectful to all the service users, they were patient and advised of what they needed to do to access the service. I had filling ,clean and polish for my treatment. I am very nervous going to the dentist for treatment, the dentist was patient, friendly and informed me what was happening at each procedure. He asked if I was OK throughout. This is the first time I felt no pain. I would recommend this dental clinic to all.

Second time today: Filling and a clean. Dr Pooja was very professional and friendly. She did exactly what I wanted and went the extra mile to explain and talk about a different treatment, which I will be getting done in the near future. Definitely recommend this dental practice. First time: The dentist(Pooja) very professional, friendly, experienced and did everything I expected. Good advice and caring too. Explained everything on my teeth scan. Have got another appointment for a clean. Thank you

I went to this dentist as I had bad tooth pain for over a year I had a filling for now, the dentist was informative and helpful I don’t know why all these people are complaining as it’s taken me a long time to find a dentist and I’ve had no issues with how quickly they have attended to me I will be a regular patient
