NEVER GO TO THIS DENTIST. if i could give 0 stars I would. I had very negligent treatment from JD. I went in and was told I needed a filling so had that put in. 2 days later I was in the most severe pain I've ever been in for days in my tooth - it was unbearable. I had doctor prescribed pain killers (codeine) which did not relieve the pain. I booked into an emergency private dentist and it turned out JD had placed 2 fillings in my tooth one of which was directly on the nerve of my tooth causing the nerve to die completely. I had to have and pay for emergency root canal. When we tried to make a formal complaint we were ignored. It was outright negligence and I regret not taking further action at the time. NEVER GO HERE.

Terrible!!! Avoid at all cost. My review has been triggered by being asked to review the (excellent) dentist that I and my family moved to 10 years ago (as a direct result of the terrible service here!) Assuming nothing has changed (judging by the abundance of negative reviews it would suggest nothing has) - this was my personal experience. I do not have a good word to say about this place and their service. The main man’s arrogance and total disregard for his patients beggars belief. Multiple no shows or late showings on the part of the dentist himself for all 4 of us on multiple occasions - with no apology or explanation when he did eventually arrive. Really?! The overwhelming sense that you are being rushed through on a money making conveyor belt at every consultation with very little care and attention actually spent on the job in hand … where looking cool, fast and ‘efficient’ obviously out trumps the quality of the service you provide. Don’t get me started on the ‘holier than thou’ habitual parking on the double yellows outside his practice… I digress If I could rate zero stars I think I probably would…

After a couple of 6-monthly check-ups here, I am now changing to a new dentist. Most of the time, it is a struggle getting through to reception if you need to book/change appointments. The reception team struggle to answer basic queries and are disorganised. When I have had check-ups, sometimes I've spent a long time waiting in the waiting room for no real reason, the dentist isn't seeing to another patient or anything. The dentist always tries to push private treatment too and his check-ups are surface-level at best. I question his expertise. On one occasion, when I visited the hygienist she did an awful job. It was really painful and I could tell she did not have the expertise to carry out this treatment. Do not recommend.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this dentist at all costs! You can ask for NHS treatments and all they do is keep offering you private solutions. I had several appointments cancelled before I was actually able to get seen. I needed to have a tooth removed and 2 years later I have not been contacted about this. Have they even done their job correctly? I did want to let the above go and revisit the practice to give them a 2nd chance. Most recently I tried to book a standard check-up in January and so far, 3 of the appointments I have booked have all been cancelled due to one reason or another. I have had it with the poor service having booked time off at work 3 times!!!

A big thank you to the wonderful lady on reception who really helped me with my tooth abscess by getting me registered as soon as possible and booking me an appointment to see the dentist. It was a wonderful feeling being treated with so much care and respect. Thank you again!

Very irresponsible and suspicious practices just simple Google search and you will see. Staff are extremely defensive to the point of aggressive even if asking a simple request like a receipt, it's just bizarre. I won't even bore you with the poor dental practice, in short dentist loves to answer his phone during appointment and then sticks his hand back in your mouth after just using the same glove to answer the phone. Even a basic look of the positive reviews is laughable, one claims to be an asylum seeker using broken English but then wrote another review for a asthetic clinic 3 months prior in perfect English.

Would highly recommend this dentist practice. The staff were polite throughout. My family are registered here. My daughter actually enjoys coming to see the dentist every 6 months for her checkups. I Had to have my wisdom tooth out, the dentist was professional and he was finished within half an hour.

Absolutely amazing. The team at JD Dental are absolutely amazing, they were all friendly people who made me feel relaxed and at ease. Regarding treatment it was quick, efficient and perfectly priced (no hidden payments!) and as for the results! I honestly feel like the dentist grew a new tooth for me, because he worked some kind of magic to fix this one. So happy I made the switch, my previous dentist was unprofessional & the experience was extremely negative. Here it's nothing short of 10/10. I also have my 4 year old son here as a patient and thanks to the efforts of the staff, he actually loves the dentist & keeps asking when he can go back! Thanks so much to the entire team at JD.
