Emma has literally changed our lives. My daughter has struggled with mental health for a long time and Emma has now given her the tools to manage her feelings and cope better when she feels overwhelmed. Without Emma, I have no idea where we would have ended up, she has made an enormous impact on the happy, balanced and strong person my daughter is now. Emma is absolutely fantastic!! My 10yr old son felt instantly at ease from the moment we had our initial consultation. Emma has a wonderful way with children and was able to gain his trust straight away which enabled him to open up to her and take on board everything she suggested to be able to overcome his anxieties around food and choking. I felt a little worried at first about not being involved with each meeting but I received emails after each session advising of what was discussed during their session and also offering help and support to us as parents so that we were all working together as a team which was greatly appreciated. Our sessions have now come to an end and my son is already missing Emma...not that he has taken a step backwards at all, simply because he sees her as a friend and has asked if he can email her once in a while to keep in touch. We are so pleased that Emma has not only enabled him to overcome his fear she has also taught him various strategies which he can apply to many of life situations he may encounter going forward. Emma has been fantastic with my daughter. We instantly felt comfortable around her. Emma gave us strategies which helped not only our daughter but also us as parents so we could help her moving forward. Emma stayed in regular contact keeping us updated with strategies that she has helped her with. My daughter has flourished and is now well equipped to move forward.
