10 days ago I had breast augmentation with Transform. My surgeon was Mr Ali Juma. I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The nurses looked after me really well at The Pines hospital and kept me comfortable. I had an overnight stay as requested by the surgeon and my recovery has been perfect. The nurse was very impressed with my results and as am I. If I ever needed surgery again, I wouldn't hesitate to return

Just been to Pines for recent breast surgery.. beautiful looking hospital, very clean...The Dr I had Sherif Elamari couldnt of been any better, easy to talk to , made you very relaxed.. Communication was very good, going for the operation was relaxed and easy . everything flowed.. All staff were lovely and attentive, food to die for, Night staff brilliant. You were given plenty of privacy but someone there if needed. Operation went well , I wasn't nervous at all , everyone very professional and good at what they did...can't say enough how good they all were as a team...I'm hoping my results are as good as my experience...

Absolute horrendous hospital carrying out a gastric bypass on my son without checking his health background being a war veteran with ptsd mental health issues and addiction when this type of procedure can cause these. He’s now out of control with multiple suicide attempts and in and out of mental health units who can do nothing for him. His brain is being Poisened with toxins with no hope of recovery. Dreading a phone call he has passed away. Receptionist was shocking and wouldn’t allow anyone to speak over my sons deteriorating health condition. Poor aftercare. Seems like it’s all about money with them.

I accompanied my daughter who was having surgery at the Pines Hospital. We can’t fault the place. She was put into a light and airy private room to herself. All the staff were amazing, but Clare and Shirin.were exceptionally supportive and professional. The food was delicious. The surgeon Mr Jeevan was amazing and my daughter is delighted with her results so far and is healing well. Thank you for all your amazing care!

From the moment I entered the Abbey Pines on 14/03/24 (first patient of the day) I felt totally at ease. The outstanding care, and professionalism of every single member of the staff is second to none. Having previously had really awful and neglectful treatment at a Private Hospital in the Midlands I was obviously very wary. However, I absolutely had no need to be. The very skilled and professional Consultant Alan Lei and Dr Abbas took time to see me both before and after my procedure to answer my questions and address my concerns which went a long way to putting my mind at complete ease. Also I must say thank you to all of the friendly theatre staff they were totally marvellous. It is very apparent that this team not only take pride in their work but also have a great cohesive working relationship together here. Last but not least thank you Ina (Ena) the Bulgarian nurse who was so very attentive, caring and dedicated. Nothing was too much trouble for her. If you are considering private treatment I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Transorm at the Abbey Pines. If only every hospital was as good as this. Congratulations and thank you to all of the staff at The Abbey Pines you are the gold standard of private hospitals.

Looks like I'm not the only complaint about cancelled operations. I was scheduled for a hernia surgery as well ( through the NHS). Their excuse was my BMI is too high......Not only did I come in for an initial assessment (they know my BMI previously) THEY HAVE LIPOSUCTION and WEIGHT MANAGEMENT as their specialty FFS!! I know for a fact the surgeon who will perform my operation at an NHS will be furious, this is a total con job they probably have been paid the money from the NHS , like they gentleman below. AVOID AVOID AVOID...the floors dirty as well just sayin

I'm extremely happy with the surgical work Dr. Khalil has done -explant with mastopexy & partial capsualectomy. After 4 weeks I can see scarring isn't going to be bad at all. Everything is so neat and I couldn't be happier. I really wasn't expecting such good results. I'd give my surgery and result 5 stars. I was nervous about how I'd feel about the scarring but they don't bother me at all because Dr. Khalil has done such a good job. I feel 10x more confident having had it done! Reception Paul - warm and welcoming really helped to calm nerves. A go the extra mile type. The anesthetist was a lovely man. Came across as very caring and also calming. A good person to see just before walking into the operating theatre. The private room was decent and comfortable. I had no pain after my surgery and have recovered very well. I was sent home with massive drain bottles which were not practical. Not sure why as when searching online can see there are smaller ones that attach to a waist band you can get instead of walking them around like 2 gory dogs on a lead. My child wouldn't come near me with those. He was quite upset by them. I was actually given a plastic bag to carry them out of the hospital with which felt a bit low budget. Not happy with the lady who booked my surgery. She took my money and she fell of the face of the earth so lost point of contact for Qs. Didn't give me all info & missed a med form. This meant that she missed a test I needed which fortunately the nurse picked up. She also didn't inform me of self isolation required which meant I was telling work last minute. This wasn't a good way to lead up to an invasive surgery. I'd lost some confidence in the week before going in and my mum wanted me to cancel and rethink. Tried to get after care at the weekend and have been told clinic isn't available. Initially said to call back on Monday - don't think you should have to wait over the weekend for medical advice. Not when paying significant amounts of money. Having my drains out didn't seem to be arranged well. Seemed the nurses weren't expecting me. Was taken to a pharmaceutical room that they keep chilled. So having my top off to remove them was a horrible experience. You don't want to be tensed up from being cold in a random room to have those pulled out. Someone also tried to walk in as the door wasn't locked. The nurses that did it were very nice though. It did feel like I was plonked in a back room which added to the unpleasantness of it all. No one told me I had to book my post op appointment with the surgeon. Found out 3 weeks later when I called them. Now have to wait until late July. Fortunately I don't think I have any issues and everything is looking good. Overall I'm happy as the most important factor was coming out with a good surgical result. Which I more than did. The people were all lovely. The extra care bits could use some improvement as it all adds to the experience and you feel you have paid for that - that let it down a bit.
