   I contacted the garage on the 23rd of July to request a quote for replacing brake pads, discs, a suspension part, and two tyres. As of the 6th of August, I’ve had no response at all. Disappointing lack of communication, especially when timely service was needed.

   This repair centre is closest to my home and therefore it’s very convenient. I’ve taken my car into Gowland Motors 3 times and each time they have done some of the work but annoyingly always leave some work outstanding. During my last visit they told me that a part was required and they would order and be in touch. After 4 weeks I called into Gowland Motors to chase up. I was told the part would be chased up and I would get an update by phone next day. That was 4 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. My advice to anyone in need of repairs is not to rely on Gowland Motors. They don’t seem to care. I tried not to judge them by the run down state of the premises but really I should have trusted my gut and swerved this business.

   I was away from home when an issue with a front wheel came up, putting the car in a potentially dangerous state. The guys at Gowland helped at last minute notice and enabled me to get back on my way which was a huge relief. Very few, if any other service stations would have been willing to help, and I would have been stuck! Good, friendly and reasonable people. Highly recommended.

   The only garage I trust, even after moving away from garforth I happily travel 45 minutes to get my car seen to here. Dave and Nat are both so welcoming and kind and I can always count on them to sort my car and get me on my way no matter the problem. I definitely recommend them to everyone!

   I have just moved to Garforth and was looking for a garage close by to do a full service on my VW Scirocco.The Google reviews for Gowlands are fantastic so I decided to give it ago. The staff are very friendly and professional, they got me in quickly and did a great job with my Car, I will definately use them again!

   I wouldn't take my car anywhere else now. Run by a lovely chap who is helpful and honest and the prices I've paid have always been good value for money. He's even charged me less than first quoted in some cases! Top garage - 100% 5 stars!

   We have put many cars through this garage for MOT and repairs doing and I can only say how impressed I have been. Friendly personal service every time and always good on price too. As others have mentioned you may have to book in advance as its only a small business but I wont take my car anywhere else now !
