I have been going to this garage for my MOT, services and general repairs for a number of years now. I have always been incredibly pleased with the service that I have experienced, alongside appreciating the friendly nature of the staff, and clear and honest price breakdown. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to go somewhere that they can trust to get the job done well!
Took our car to this garage to investigate an issue (which we now realise was something quite simple) and after charging hundreds and hundreds of pounds to ‘fix’ the problem low and behold the issue persisted. The last time we had the car in there I explicitly told the garage not to do any works until i’d had a chat with my partner. We wanted to get a second opinion before paying any more out to them. This was ignored (they argued I’d given permission when I hadn’t) and they went ahead anyway leaving us with another bill for work that still didn’t fix the problem. Even if it was a genuine misunderstanding, the owners behaviour was shocking towards my partner when he went to collect the car. He was rude and aggressive with the most ridiculous part being that he threatened to report us due to the wear of our tyres. The irony is our tyres were wearing prematurely (we’d replaced them 6 months prior) because the issue with the car was actually all linked to tracking and a worn suspension arm, something this garage would’ve known if they’d have identified the original problem correctly! The car has since been taken to a different garage who were brilliant and fixed the problem first time. Definitely would not recommend this garage, from our experience they are rude and unprofessional and you risk unnecessarily spending hundreds if not thousands of pounds for substandard work.
Was recommended this garage by a friend whose father was a long-time customer. They were incredibly helpful assessing a car I had been missold. They looked it over next day and the quote was fair for the work that needed doing. Very efficient customer service experience: professional, friendly and articulate.
Good work and seem honest, but gave my other half an advisory in her MOT which I said she should go back and get them to sort out (something to do with the exhaust) as it would be more expensive if it went wrong. When she went back they explained how serious an issue it was and that it needed sorting asap and that the car wouldn’t have passed the MOT in a few months time………. So the reason for the 3 stars is, why on Earth wouldn’t you explain that in the first place and get it sorted? When I go to a garage I always make sure I ask lots of questions, that’s the learning here!
Great garage! I’ve had a couple of spontaneous breakdowns recently and they’ve taken it in and fixed up the car really quickly, keeping me in the loop always! Thank you very much, so highly recommended!
Had a diagnostic test done today found fault faulty fuel temperature sensor ordered part from Audi booked in again for Friday for sensor fitting quick professional garage will be recommending garage to my friends and family definitely will be using this garage in the future. Staff were professional and very friendly great team.
