Many thanks to Colin and his team at PC Autocare, after having some load knocking from the front of my Volvo which also lead to a driveshaft problem. I asked Colin to inspect my car, he informed me that a strut top bearing and a driveshaft was the course of the problem. This was at a time when Colin and Vicky where getting married and time was a problem for him to fit the car in. So he let me a vehicle which got me out of trouble with hospital appointments, plus he was also having problems finding the parts with my old girl getting on in age. But bless him he found the pasts and the car drives like a dream now. Customer care at PC Autocare is second to none and although my Volvo is over 20 years old and not a new car Colin went out of his way to locate the parts. When my engine management light came on whilst 30 mins into a trip away from home I googled local garages and found this place. I phoned them up around an hour before they were due to close and they managed to fit me in and check the light. After an inspection it turned out the light came on for no apparent reason and everything was fine. The light was no longer on after the checks. Felt totally reassured. Could tell from speaking to the staff that they knew what they were talking about they wouldn’t take a penny for their troubles despite me taking up 30 minutes of their time. Obviously a very ethical and well run customer focused business. Could have told me it was anything and charged me whatever they wanted and i’d have had to pay it to get where I was heading. They’ve gained a new customer and I will be traveling 30 minutes back there next time my car needs work. Not had an issue with the car since.

Good mechanics and honest, not many garages around like this anymore, I recommend PC Autocare 100%. I took my Ford Focus Convertible in for a new Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel on Thursday morning and it was ready Friday morning so I could go home for the weekend. Above and beyond.

I selected PC Autocare to fix my dead car based on the good reviews on here and the fact Colin was able to come out to do a home visit. Unable to diagnose on my drive, he arrange for it to be taken to his garage and got it diagnosed and fixed in less than 24 hours (plus looking at a couple of other niggles that I had with it). Great service, great value for money and regular updates via WhatsApp so you always knew what was going on. I would use again and recommend to anyone.
