Son was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and had no support ever since. Only gets reviewed if I actively chase and getting a prescription for ADHD medication is a nightmare. No medication in stock at any pharmacy across Warrington so always going back and forth
I would give 0 stars if possible, I am 19 now and all I can say is that this place is a load of rubbish!!! Dr anjum is a disgrace she told me and my mum I didn’t have ADHD then when we were half way home she called and told us she had made a mistake and told us to come back and had diagnosed me with adhd which is now something I struggle with day to day. One of the other members of staff mocked me for some of my symptoms and wasn’t very nice about it.
Dr Anjum, what can I say. You are amazing, we owe you so much.You helped to diagnose my son with a hugely rare genetic disease of Tuberous sclerosis. If it wasn’t for you, we would have carried on regardless. Thank you so much for caring so much. You are amazing and we are so grateful to you. Max is surviving and is 18 now xx
My daughter has been under numerous services at the CDC since around 18 months old and we have been impressed with their support and multidisciplinary team working. She has been reviewed by physio, optometrist, audiologist, genetic consultant, speech and language and child development consultant Dr Anjum. We would be lost without their support and are grateful for their input for our daughter.
Absolutely brilliant they always treat you with kindness and respect, and it is a lovely place to take your children we have had three children go there now and always come away feeling better and more positive about their progress and futures
My son was reviewed by Dr Anjum, Wednesday afternoon. This particular doctors conduct is shocking. My son has been badly let down, to the point I was in tears for my son. Dr Anjum then asked my son for a hug because she “needed one”. Dr Anjum leaves patient identifiers all over her desk, so other childrens information is in the public eye for everyone to see. Dr Anjum has no clue about the criteria for Autism. If anyones child gets referred to this place and has Dr Anjum as their child’s peadrictian I would recommend you ask for another doctor.
Feel totally let down. I feel my son has been let down badly and what a waste of our time. Years to get the assessment to get the help my son needs. Wasn't the result we was expecting. Forced me now to go private. You can't even get hold of any staff. No one answersthe phone and don't receive a call back.
I have spoken to them in the past and they were brilliant. Been trying to get through on the phone for 2 days now. Yesterday it rang and rang with no answer. Today the call gets killed constantly. Seriously unimpressed. We're asked not to turn up out of the blue. I'm not going to end up with any choice! How difficult is it to have an answer machine for goodness' sake?
Let our daughter down very badly over a very sensitive issue. Then my daughter's so called support worker and her supervisor tried to place all the blame on me. I only found out through reading our daughter's records just how much the support worker had said one thing to us and to other professionals another. Suppressing the truth of what had actually happened to our daughter in her then school. What they did with what we were going through at the time was just cruel, and it's a credit to our daughter how she has turned her life around and shown what was written and said about her to be untrue. What concerns me is how much power and influence the support worker had with other professionals. After only meeting our daughter only a few times. Not only undermining myself, but other professionals from the centre including the doctor who diagnosed our daughter. No one would listen to me. I raised my concerns again and again with her supervisor, and the way she spoke to me and dismissed me, especially with what happened to our daughter. I will never forget.
