They discussed the issue regarding my car in a way I could understand and took the time to explain the time frame required to complete and the process they follow in communicating each stage to me.    Rude and Unprofessional – Avoid This Garage I had a terrible experience at this garage due to their lack of transparency, refusal to provide a quote, and extremely rude attitude when I simply asked for a breakdown of costs. I requested a price estimate twice before the work was done and was told they would call me once they knew the cost. They never called until after the work was already completed, leaving me with a bill that was far higher than expected. When I went to collect my car, I politely asked for an itemised breakdown of the costs, as I just wanted to understand what I was paying for. Instead of responding professionally, the mechanic immediately became defensive and aggressive, saying “we’re running a business, and it costs money.” He even threatened to remove the new part and put my old one back on, which was completely unnecessary. I remained calm and simply asked to see proof of the part price, but they refused, saying that was “for them, not me.” I was not questioning whether I should pay—I just wanted a clear explanation. Instead, I was spoken to in an incredibly condescending and unprofessional manner. After I stepped outside, overwhelmed by how I was being treated, the mechanic eventually came back and apologised, finally providing the explanation that should have been given in the first place. If they had been upfront and professional from the start, the entire situation could have been avoided. I was nothing but polite and reasonable, yet I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply asking for clarity on what I was paying for. A trustworthy garage should be honest, transparent, and respectful to customers—this one was the complete opposite. I would not recommend them to anyone.

   I’ve been here 3 times, all 3 times for the same injector that would leak after the first few miles on it, the last time it seemed to have held however I drove off and had a massive boost leak, I turned around, pulled up and said “I’ve got a boost leak” I was looked at like I don’t know anything and I’m stupid he didn’t believe me but said to rev it, I did and he found the leak and put a missing bolt in, Fast forward a few months and I’ve got a boost leak when warm again… I took it apart and found that they didn’t use any of the original bolts, just spaced 10mm bolts with washers and had missed a bolt which caused the original leak I had, when putting that missing bolt back after looking at me like shit on their shoe, they crushed the gasket…. I was the last person to have this off before they had it so I know for a fact that it had factory bolts and never leaked, there was no reason to remove this cap from the intake for the injector job… I don’t mind if they lost the bolts ect but at least tell me… I’ve paid a specialist price for a bodge job. Honestly don’t bother with these guys, talk the talk don’t walk the walk, plus left my interior a mess with grease and grime…

   Fantastic service got my vehicle in quickly. Diagnosed faults and telephoned me promptly and explained required repair and cost. Van fixed and returned to me by end of day. Van is running sweet couldn’t be happier. Staff are very friendly and obviously on top of their game. Would highly recommend to anyone especially if you own a VW transporter and especially if you need your vehicle fixing and back on the road promptly. I will add that Wakefield diesels were recommended to me by my usual mechanic when he was unable to diagnose the fault so a good call by him . Can’t recommend this company enough. So anyone struggling with a problem vehicle give them a call and relieve yourself of the stress your in good hands
