Appalling customer service. Took my car here for its MOT and was quoted Β£42.50. I returned later on once it was done, to a charge of 188 GREAT BRITISH POUNDS! I told the mechanic there must be a mistake, and he claimed I had booked my car in for a tyre change as well as an MOT. He was very defensive and didn't even try to check if there had been a misunderstanding. He went on to say if I want him to take the tyres off he'll need to fail my MOT. A second mechanic then came out a while later to tell me it turns out a second car of the same model had its tyres changed, so the Β£188 bill was incorrect and meant for someone else. There was no apology from either worker, and the whole experience was just terrible. Had I not insisted there was a misunderstanding, they would have charged me Β£188 just for my MOT. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I recently did a full service and MOT at this garage, and just one day later my BMW showed a βno coolant waterβ warning and completely broke down on the motorway. This is something that should have been checked during a full service, and the negligence could have caused a serious accident. When we returned to the garage to ask what happened, the staff were rude, unhelpful, and took no responsibility at all. Their attitude was terrible, and they simply said it had nothing to do with them. This place has wasted our money and time. Very unprofessional, dishonest, and not trustworthy. Definitely would not recommend this garage to anyone.

Shocking. Appalling customer service and lack of care. I recently booked an MOT online and was called an hour before my appointment to say they couldnβt carry out the work due to staffing issues. However, they rescheduled my booking for the following day at 4pm. Once Iβd dropped my car off, I was told it would be around an hour and Iβd receive a call to confirm it was ready for collection. Almost 2 hours passed and I hadnβt received a call, so I rang and they told me it had been ready for collection for an hour but no one called me. I arrived to pick my car up and was informed the vehicle had failed its MOT for a headlamp beam not projecting correctly (which is less than a 2 minute fix). My vehicle was not fixed or retested and the guy who carried out the MOT shut the garage and drove away. I certainly wonβt be returning for any work in the future.

I had a flat tyre that needed urgent replacement. Finding a replacement on the Formula One website was very easy and the price was very reasonable. I brought it in the same day and the replacement was done very quickly whilst I waited. I'm very happy with the purchase and service.

If I could give less than one star I would! Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They told me my tyres were safe and then 15 minutes from leaving my tyre which they had just fitted blew out. I was lied too ( probably because Iβm a woman and they must think we donβt know anything about cars). I was ripped off. THEY BROKE my tyre sensors which I then had to take my car to Ford to have repaired which wasnβt cheap. The whole hassle of this place was not enjoyable. DO NOT GO HERE!

I would not recommend using this garage at all. Following a cold snap recently I booked with this garage (as they're local) for 4 new tyres (via Blackcircles). On 3 separate occasions the appointment I had booked were cancelled despite appointments being available to book ahead of time & in the worst case the appointment was cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice. So giving them the benefit of the doubt I got a full refund via Blackcircles and went direct to formula 1. Delivered the car today for fitting and an hour later they rang to say they couldn't do the fitting as they couldn't find all the tyres. You cannot make this up! 4 times in the last 2 weeks i've been messed around by this garage. Spend your money elsewhere.

From start to finish I had problems with this garage's constantly changing prices, bad customer service, and a poor quality of work. To give details, I booked in my car on WhoCanFixMyCar for F1 Autocentres and was given a price of Β£185 for a service and MOT. I called them to confirm the price and they said it was wrong, so I took my car down to them whilst the man on reception was "figuring" out a price and he came to Β£270; which is ridiculous, because they went from one of the cheapest to one of the most expensive. I checked online after being given the price and their website gave me a completely different price of Β£172 (with a Black Friday discount), so I asked for that one. He said he couldn't give me that price, so I had to book it myself in front of him. I then asked could I have my car done that day, because I already had a slot that day so it would save us both time instead of re-booking. He said no to that, so I have to bring my car back to the garage the next day. I spoke to someone else that day, who to give them credit, was helpful. I had a slow puncture in my tire and he said, because of how awkward the previous bloke was they'd throw in the puncture repair for free on top of everything else that needs repairing. When I came back to pick my car up, the price of fixing it came to Β£644; and that was with a completely clean MOT. So I looked through the bill asked for specific things to get fixed instead of others and got it down slightly. And after all of that, a week later my tire still has a slow puncture in it; so god knows what else they didn't fix. Genuinely the worst garage I've been to. At least the others that overcharge actually fix your car.

As a single women, if my car goes wrong I always dread it as I know absolutely nothing about cars. The times that I have used this garage the guys have gone above and beyond to help me and charge very fair prices, last time when my tyre sensor light came on they checked everything and didnβt even charge me! Great service

Atrocious!! Went in for an MOT, full service and 2 rear brake lights. I left with a "borderline" MOT pass. They claimed it had an ABS issue and required Β£900 worth of additional work. They still released the car back to me though. As the car was brought round, the mechanic got out of the car with the handbrake on - and the car started rolling away. The brakes were virtually non-existent and were a danger to life. I took the car for a second opinion...who fixed it for Β£72 The work carried out by the other garage: Rebuild rear brake adjuster arms to shoes (which was caused by the first garage). Scan engine and clear code.
