   Not a good place to live. There is no on site security other than CCTV and the local teenage boys know this. Deliveries tend to be dumped in a pile right by the entrance, an easy target for theft by tailgaters. They have a field day when it’s Christmas. Vandalism and assault are not uncommon either. It gets very hot in the summer thanks to the little to no ventilation and the massive windows. We asked to put blinds on the windows, but NPP said “it’s not a part of our 5th floor package” so we just had to suffer the extreme heatwave. If you want to heat your home in the winter, you can expect to pay a small fortune on the tiny electric heaters that do very little. If you don’t drive, you’re a bit screwed as there’s not really any shops, bus stops, or cafes within easy walking distance. If you do own a car, enjoy paying for a parking spot that other people will often use, or alternatively park your car out towards the estate where it’s at the mercy of those who like to smash car windows. The lifts are often adorned with dog pee and bin juice; sometimes on a Saturday morning you might even find vomit, cig ends or bits of food in there. The flats themselves look nice and shiny, but once you get past that there’s very little to enjoy about Elisabeth Mill.
