Very outdated hotel with filthy rooms and damaged furniture. The 2-person bed is very small and unsuitable for 2 grown ups. Yes, I do acknowledge they never claim to be a 3* hotel, however they're in the 3* price range so I'm comparing to other hotels I've been in this city.

I stayed at the Imperial Salford Hotel for three days and overall had a very good experience. The room was comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The service was generally good, and the staff were friendly without being over the top. A special thanks goes to T, who made a noticeable difference with their friendliness and helpful attitude. It was truly appreciated and made the stay a bit better. All in all, a place I’m happy to recommend and would consider visiting again.

If you're planning to stay this hotel, let me save you some time... Don't. Booked this hotel as it was cheap and was going to an event on a Friday night. Arrived at the hotel when it was dark, a few car parking spaces which was okay. Checked in all fine, went to the room and it had a really bad smell in the room like someone had just cleaned it with out-of-date products. The room felt really old and the furniture was all dusty. The bathroom had multiple spiders (dead & alive) in the corners of the ceiling. The bathroom was also incredibly small, not much room to move about if you need to go toilet or do, well, pretty much anything in there. Luckily we didn't need to stay in the hotel for an extended period of time as was just there for an event and then getting the hell out of there (thank god). Fast-forward a few weeks and I've been slapped with a Β£100 parking fine for parking in the hotel car park. On the booking sites, they state there is FREE PRIVATE PARKING. My appeal for the parking fine has been denied because they "couldn't verify" my stay at the hotel and that my vehicle was not on the "site whitelist". They have said there is signage around the car park about paying (this is from ParkMaven). But why would you look around when it's dark for info about parking, when you're under the assumption from the booking site that it's free parking? The person who checked us in, never mentioned anything about the parking or that I had to give my registration details for the parking and there was no machine / iPad or anything to put in my reg. And then on the Friday evening when we left for the event, there was no one on reception, and even on Saturday morning when we left to go home, there was still no one on reception. You might think it's a cheap option to stay for a night, but honestly, spend the extra money to get a decent nights sleep and a nicer hotel... One that also won't slap you with a Β£100 parking fine for parking without making payment even though the hotel states it's FREE parking.

AVOID AT ALL COST !!! after booking this hotel for my son's 13th birthday celebration on Saturday 2nd august, it turned into a unsafe experience, I was travelling with my son and friend and booked a family room here, when we arrived I was shocked at the state of the hotel grounds, doors smashed, gangs of people sitting around in the car park and the smell of drugs was disgusting, when we checked in we was told there was no family rooms available (even tho we booked one 2/3 weeks ago )and offered us two separate rooms, at the time we was in shock at the state of what we was staying at and just said yes but after our return later to the hotel it was even worse with lads with hoods up standing outside the hotel, hanging out the hotel windows speaking to the other lads on the car park, the smell of drugs was even worse to, we are 2 girls and a 13 year old child in the middle of all this, we went up to our rooms and we all felt so scared and unsafe that we couldn't even stay there and had to book another hotel, we left the hotel at 10pm, as it was loud and could here them all arguing outside, we spoke to the manger before we left and he said he was aware of this and the police have been called a fair few times, AFTER ASKING THE HOTEL FOR A REFUND THEY HAVE REFUSED, the site we booked it through have tried to get us the refund back but again they have REFUSED, This hotel is used for homeless people and shouldn't be sold to the public!!! Rooms - TV not working, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, toilet seat wobbly, beds rock hard, windows absolutely filthy. Worst experience ever

The rooms had mold everywhere, on the curtains, the walls, the ceiling. The closet was dusty. all of us felt sick and light headed after just a few hours in the rooms. The bedding felt damp and not clean. Did not smell good either So we were forced to switch hotels the same night. so our money & a lot of time wasted. As a small group of young females we did not feel safe staying here The rooms was also freezing cold, which unfortunately got worse when

I like nothing about this property. It looks good on pictures what after experience in a stay there it’s smell of cannabis the windows were taped up and my five year old son has became ill with sleeping in that horrible conditions.

Rooms are ok but this hotel itself looks very run down. Had numerous issues trying to get into my room due to my door being faulty. Tried to get help from staff who were more concerned with heating up their breakfast. Major delay in checking out and getting to my next destination because of this. Missed my train and had to pay Β£30 for an Uber. I have emailed them a complaint Sunday with no response and tried to call them 8 times today with no answer. Terrible

Freezing cold room, absolutely no attempt to verify I was who I said I was on check in, not even a signature requested? Room was tiny, filthy and freezing cold. Staff wandering around talking on the phone both when i came in and when I went back to check out after 45 minutes. Been given an email address to complain to but I hold very little hope of a resolution

This was such a great choice. Excellent location with fine eateries next door. You would be mad not to stay here as it represents the cutting edge of value for money. Extremely quiet and excellent reception they even took our bags up to the room. We met some lovely people here who were extremely friendly. Very warm and cosy cannot wait to come back, easily the best hotel I have stayed at.

Paint peeling off ceiling. Bad night sleep due to mattress, blind doesn't stop light coming in. And room small. And noise from other rooms. Since 3 am constant noise. No staff on duty overnight to deal with it. Avoid this hotel at all cost.
