As a woman driver without much technical knowledge about car repairs, I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained and how transparent the process was.    I only used this company as they are an ‘approved garage’ by my insurance company and I was told that if I used them I could have a courtesy car whilst mine was being repaired. . Having collected my vehicle from where it had been recovered to after an accident I have had no contact whatsoever from them. I have rung them every day and every day there has been a different excuse as to why they haven’t even assessed the vehicle yet. Sickness/Christmas… it isn’t even Christmas yet!… and every day I’ve been assured it would be looked at that day or the following day and that they would contact me. No contact unless I call them and when I do call there has been no progress and I just get told again that it will be looked at later that day or the next day and they will call me, but this still hasn’t happened. They really shouldn’t accept jobs if they don’t have the capacity to deal with them. I would give no stars for service if I could as this isn’t poor service, it is no service at all. Disgraceful.

   Following an accident, my vehicle was repaired by TF Smith's (Leeds), the damage was mainly superficial however, my vehicle is painted in a complex light metallic colour and repainting this colour is so easy to get wrong. A poor repair creates 'shadows' and makes the vehicle look worse to the point where you'd rather have the damage. The work that TF Smith's Leeds performed was perfect and I do mean perfect! The staff were friendly and understanding of my desire to have a high quality repair, turnaround was excellent, car was washed / cleaned inside and out. I think they polished the entire car! I'll be taking my second car to TF Smith's Leeds in the near future for some needed paintwork. This review is my way of saying 'thankyou' to the team at TF Smith's Leeds.
