Absolutely disgusting. Booked through Airbnb, when you get there they ask for a £200 deposit, which is not mentioned on the listing and they won’t request through Airbnb so there’s no protection. Lift was broken so we had to take all our things up flights of stairs without any support, even though again the listing said there was a lift. The apartment was filthy, we had blood stained sheets, asked for new ones to be given more blood stained sheets.

HORRIBLE! The best part was leaving. Location: Absolutely terrifying. The 5 minute walk from the car park to the apartment was unsafe and dangerous. People from the neighbouring building throwing fist sized rocks at cars and everything below. Did not even attempt to step out the building at nightfall. Overall an extremely dodgy area, avoid at all costs. Staff: Cold and hostile welcome from an extremely rude and ill-mannered receptionist. Unwilling and abrupt in giving the most basic information like parking, to which she refused or couldn’t be bothered to give a permit and after asking for an alternative, she directed us to a 3 hour stay across the road when we were staying there for 2 nights. A surprise of a £100 deposit will also meet you at reception to which you will have no prior knowledge of. Issues with the card/ card machine occurred to which the nasty receptionist repeatedly stated “have you got enough money” insultingly. We liaised with another member of staff prior the stay about an additional dog to which we were given the okay with an extra charge £50, to no surprise the rude receptionist had zero knowledge of this. This establishment has very poor to zero management, no actual working system in place and extremely rude staff. Room & Facilities: Unsatisfactory but habitable. Very cheap amenities and furniture therefore, uncomfortable and anything could break at any give moment. Sofa legs broken therefore could not sit on them, mattress sunk to the ground, duvet cover not fitting, paper thin pillows, unclean kitchen appliances with left over food in the oven. Overall a horrendous experience. Find somewhere else to stay. Repulsive and unsafe area and even worse staff.

Avoid staying here at all costs. My experience here was awful! Reception itself is dirty with cobwebs everywhere. Once you check in they take an £200 deposit which is not mentioned anywhere at the point of booking! Advertised as ‘Luxury’ yet there’s nothing luxury about these apartments. Rooms are basic, our bedroom had dents in the walls and the corridors in the room had black marks on them. We had a TV yet no remote and no buttons on the TV to get it working. Our bedroom window didn’t close properly so we heard everything outside during the night. Also the shower screen in the bathroom wasn’t long enough to touch the bath so when we had a shower the water just flooded the bathroom floor. You have to pay £20 per night for parking which is ridiculous. A premier Inn would have been a better option!

Stayed here for valentines, didn’t read the reviews before booking so was a bit apprehensive but was not nearly as bad as everyone is saying. Easy check-in, clean and tidy room, seemed more of a temporary living place than a hotel, which makes sense for a £100 deposit. I wasn’t aware there was a deposit, but it was only held by the bank and returned to my account within 3 days. Parked across the road as it was 3 hours and free after 6 so had no problem with that. 20 minute walk from the centre and 24 hour shop next door. All in all not a bad place.

Business name needs to be changed to nightmare apartments. Everything was run down. Had to pay a £100 deposit on arrival even though that wasn’t mentioned anywhere when booking. Room was extremely underwhelming, window wouldn’t shut so it was cold all night and it’s right next to the main roads so couldn’t sleep from the sounds of the cars and drunks outside. And the heating doesn’t work. Sleeping on floor would have been more comfortable than we mattress we had. Springs going up your back, couldn’t sleep all night woke up feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus. Weird dent in mattress. Asked to change rooms, reception said they’re full booked not sure why with the state of the place. We was one floor away from the bin room so everything smelled. Address on google doesn’t even take you to the actually place but down the road so I spend almost 30 minutes walking up and down the road. Check in is 4pm but they want you out by 10am simply ridiculous. Hurried home to recover

Location: Very easy access less then 10 minutes off the motorway. Very close to the city centre which is very nice in the evening with great food. Parking: Received email 7 days before stay informing me I can book parking. I replied to the email the same day and did not hear anything back. Arrived to check in and asked for parking and happy to pay to then be told parking is full, told them i replied to the email immediately however that was ignored. Check in: Pretty simple, told what floor and room we are in. Went into room, clean as expected BUT the mattress in both rooms were horrendous. Sunk straight into them and could feel the bed base/springs clearly broken and needed replacing. Advised security about issue as no one was at front desk, was ignored. Morning advised reception about issue and was ignored. Neighbours in the room next door started playing music from 10pm no issue with this hoping it would be off soon, NO the music was so loud and carried on all night till 6/7am. Security did not care one bit. Due to location loads of road noise, tried to close windows but wouldn’t close so moved into the second bedroom which also had a horrendous mattress but was at least able to try and get some rest as the window closed in this room. For the price you are paying which is quite expensive there are manny alternatives which could be booked such as AC Hotel. On the pictures the room looked nice and when arrived were actually the same however the quality is very poor.

despite reading extremely negative (slightly worrying) reviews, stayed here this weekend and found the apartment clean and mostly well kept. For using as a base was excellent- towels and bedding were clean and found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The bed in our room was slightly broken but we didn’t spend much time sleeping, and the walls could have done with a wipe down, but overall a pleasant stay.

After reading all of the reviews I was quite concerned to say the least about staying here, but the stay overall was great. The staff were friendly upon arrival, simple check in. The rooms are basic, but were clean and tidy and had the facilities we needed whilst in the city on a hen do! Some scuffs on the walls and odd mark on the carpet but for the price we weren’t expecting five star luxury. Staff also arranged refund of deposit upon check out. Shop 2 minutes walk up the road too!

Avoid at all cost they will take your money and use any excuses to take your deposit. We paid extra for parking then got a parking ticket when they "forgot" to give us a permit. We were told they would resolve it yet they never did. The man on reception will just lie to cover his tracks.
