Completed a new exhaust extraction system in a new workshop for me today. Competitively priced and well communicated, Fitted on time and engineers were very accommodating, polite and experienced. Overall will be using these guys again.
Canceled on us twice in 24 hours. We had hired lifting equipment to help them with their work at their request then they didn't turn up. Once contacted made a promise they would be with us first thing the next day then canceled on us again. We are now out of pocket for the lift equipment and two days trading. Cowboy outfit!!! Do not trust!!!
We required some spare parts for our Hofmann tyre changing machine. A quick Google search showed that Straightset were a stockist of Hofmann parts so I called and spoke to Jayne. She took the details of our machine and promised to call me back, which she did so promptly. Because there was a couple of choices of the part, she emailed me photographs so I was able to match them up with our technician. They had the parts in stock and having emailed an invoice for me to pay, the parts were despatched the same day. Very helpful and efficient service.
Asked for upfront payment for a call out and then charged for a call out after the engineers had been. For a routine service on R201 super Tracker, quoted 2,500+vat. Insisted we have new keyboard, mouse etc. Previous team with Jerry were absolutely awesome. Beware before using the Straightest. Don't think they know what is really goining on within the company. Wish there was a rating for 1/2 star, even then it would over rate them
After a VOSA site inspection we required our brake rollers to have the weight cell replaced which we were already informed by Straightset a year previous after they calibrated them. After a phone call to organise the repair an agent came out a few days later to tell us it needed a weight cell (which we were told before) and we were invoiced £165 for this 5 minute inspection of the equipment. We had to replace the brake rollers in the end because Straightset couldn't even give us an answer to when the part would arrive and didn't seem too bothered either costing us a lot of money. If you can avoid these guys I would do so.
Excellent service start to finish. Graham Clarke helped us with installation of oil monitoring system and reels. Very swift turn around and extremely professional service. Highly recommended.

I have been dealing with Straightset for many years for all of our Service, Maintenance and Installation requirements. The Service department are knowledgeable and understanding which helps to reduce the stress caused when equipment issues occur and often go out of their way to ensure problems are resolved as quickly as possible reducing downtime.
Contacted Straighset after reading reviews on line hoping for the same experience as others, to get my ramp serviced and rectify a small fault. The engineer attended and within 15 minutes seemed to have rectified the fault of the ramp going down slowly. However , this came at the cost of the ramp now not going flat to the the floor to allow vehicles on to the ramp..... the main function of a ramp. The engineer left leaving the ramp with a fault I never had before. On contacting straightset, the service manager was very abrupt and unless I pay another £120.00 plus VAT, they wont come out and rectify the fault THEY created. I am still waiting and will invoice straightset for lost business and time I have used, in an attempt to fix the fault. If you value your business , DO NOT use this company. I think customer service is severely lacking at this company and that small businesses are not important to them. USE AT YOUR PERIL.
