Shower was clogged, full of hair and disgusting. Toilet is not flushing well, it needs 3-4tumes to flush away everything. The room is not pleasing. The socket next to the bed is loose. No hairdryer even though it should be one based on agoda. I ask the receptionist but he said no hairdryer available at the moment. The window is missing one so you can hear the cars, tram, karaoke from the outside. The surrounding is really noisy. You’ll be hesitant to lie down on the bed because it really looks dirty.

Single room. The positive parts of staying here were the nice bathroom and the affordable price. The staff are very laid back, plus they talk on their personal phones most of the time. I stayed here for three nights; the road noise from the trams and the heater was not working. I asked the staff to turn the heater on several times, but I only got the heater on one night (because the centre switch was off). I was sleeping in cold most of the nights there. The Wi-Fi signal was not strong enough in my room. I also wonder if the bed sheets have been changed before. WILL NOT BOOK HERE ANYMORE. Ibis is much better and has more professional customer service.

Rude owner/staff didn't listen to a word I said. Am using their parking space through an app which I'm paying for. My motorbike cover had been taken off completely when I arrived back. Update - owners seem extremely dodgy. Very secretive and seems to be a front for something, surely? Have seen the police there quite a few times.

When I arrived I thought the building was condemned as all the doors and windows were securely covered. Room was tiny and nothing like the pictures. Dirty walls had holes in, and the toilet seat was not attached. I even had to specifically request a duvet cover! Once I was checked in I didn't see another person on the premises for my entire stay, and I didn't feel safe at all. It became affectionately known as the Bates Motel among my friends, and for good reason. Avoid.

No kettle. But gave tea sugar coffee sachets?! No light in shower room. Shower head broken.. No fridge. Tried to call the owner for room change got no answer.

Keep in mind this is what I would class as a budget hotel. Friendly staff. There's nothing close by but it is next to Weaste tram stop which is good for town and there are good bus links close by. Free wifi, tv, tea and coffee in the rooms. Reception is accessible from the door in the car park at the rear. Note that reception is not manned 24/7 but there is always a number you can ring if you need help.

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in all the continents I've ever been to. It should be criminal to charge money in a place like this. You have to go past guest rooms to get to the reception and could unknowingly walk in to someone's room. No chair or cups in the room, the bathroom walls are peeling and the shower drain clogged with water overflowing from the shower stall into the bathroom floor if you take anything more than a 30 sec body rinse. The toiletries were 2 tiny satchets of liquid soap and conditioner that wouldn't do zilch for a barbie doll's head. The walls are paper thin, I could hear everything said outside and the couple next door had a terrible row. The management did nothing to calm things down. The TV came on very loudly on its own and near gave me a heart attack!! Ended up leaving earlier than planned and cutting my losses. The pictures couldn't be more deceptive! If I could give it minus 5 stars, I would!! Don't waste your money unless you want to have a feel of what it's like to be in a horror movie.

Very basic room. Very tired looking. Minimal facilities. No towels provided. Reception not manned although responsive to calls quickly. You have to wait outside the building before check-in and called to be let in. Not ideal as a lone woman if checking in late. Very musty smell. Lock on door didn't work. Clean bathroom and shower. Bed clean. Overall cost of £40 for a night single bed was overpriced.

Great rooms for the price! Reception staff is friendly, rooms are tidy, clean and large. Beds aren't hugely comfortable but again for the price you can't complain. Location is great, right by a tram stop, though you can hear the trams going by so you might need earplugs, and there's a fair amount of light pollution from ill-fitting doors and basic blinds. I've stayed here three times now for 1-2 nights a stay because the location for harbour city and price can't really be beat, and I'll be happy to keep staying here whenever I need a bed for the night. For the management, if you could sort the doors so they fit properly and install blackout blinds I think they'd really benefit, but it's not a huge loss if you don't!
