   I had a very disappointing experience with a shop assistant during a return. This a female staff wearing a hijab. She didn’t want to give her name. When I first visited the store to return an item, I was told their system was down and advised to come back later. I returned a week later, only two days past the return deadline, purely because of the system issue. Despite explaining this, the shop assistant was rude and unhelpful and refused to process the refund. This was particularly frustrating as the manager had no issue approving the return, yet the assistant was unwilling to help and spoke in an unpleasant manner.

   The store manager in this shop is an absolute to bully to her workers. I came in and she was shouting at her employees in front of the whole store. So unprofessional. This isn’t the first time, she’s called them names, threatening their jobs and swearing at them. Her name is Sil and she’s a nasty piece of work. She also gives the customers attitude as well. She needs to be sacked. I feel so awful for her poor employees. Probably feel like they can’t defend themselves. Something needs to be done about this

   The 5* review is actually for the staff member Tianna! (I hope spelt correctly) - Newbury Park Store. I had the BEST experience thanks to Tiana! She went above and beyond to help me — literally picked out more than two full outfits for me, suggested the right sizes, and made the whole process so easy. Without her I would’ve been in the store for hours trying to decide. She honestly has the eye of a stylist and made me feel so confident in what I bought. Such amazing customer service — JD Sports is very lucky to have her!

   Hi JD team. I have just been waiting for my payday and went to JD to check if they've got the deals. And was checking shoes to buy for Tuesday. And guess what. Two girls Elisha(Muslim) and Tamaya(afro) just made my day. Perfect customer service. Welcoming atmosphere even i didn't buy anything that day. Very unusually good attitude to customers in London . Wow.

   Misreable staff. Feel like they don't wanna be working in there. If you will go to the store don't expect any customer service or smiles or thank you after you buy your stuff. In my opinion please avoid this branch solely becouse of the fact this place is not welcoming and staff and specially the manager is abseloulty useless.

   Do not go to this store. I went to exchange a product that I bought from Romford branch with my receipt and item tagged not worn, i went to Newbury Park store as it iss closer and I struggle with mobility. The lady manager refused my exchange and simply said I had bought it from Romford so go back to Romford! The receipt says can exchange at any JD Sports. I told her mobility issues and that jd sports policy shows can be exchanged any store, she said no rudely and told ne to go back to Romford. Reading the reviews for Newbury Park I am not shocked at all at how many customers have complained about this lady manager yet Jd sports have not done anything. Save yourself, go elsewhere please. I have contacted customer service since 27th Jan and they are investigating this matter but have not replied since!

   90% of bad review of this store especially bad reviews about customer service and store manager This Eastern Avenue ilford store staff so rude, no smile on face, especially the tall Asian girl, she act like she is the boss, her response to customers are totally unacceptable. In the entire store only one Tall Boy (Black ethnicity) is very helpful, smile on the face and approach you and ask for if any help need. Rest all girls including supervisor or manager are unprofessional and moody. If someone higher position in JD reading this please train your JD staff, only this store, all other stores staffs are ok.

   Shop is good but staff management is very very poor. I worked myself in retail for more than a decade as a Floor manager and I can easily spot every time that staffs aren't managed well, neither they work as a team. Every time I go to collect my shopping I see one person working in till no help available. I saw many times 4-5 customers queuing no one ask for help or none of the staffs come to serve. They got enough staffs for the shop,you will see them on the floor but won't come to sort the que . Is it because they aren't allowed or they don't want? I believe a brand like JD Always play like a team
