   I can honestly recommend this garage and the mechanic. In my old Honda, the front suspension spring broke. I messaged him on WhatsApp and quickly received a date and time when I could come in for the repair. The car was ready the same day. During the repair, it turned out that something else also needed fixing. He quickly sourced the part and I was able to collect the car after about 4 hours. The workshop is very clean, and the mechanic made an accurate diagnosis, solved the problem along the way, and returned my car fully repaired the same day. I will definitely come back!

   I took my car for an MOT. Called up to book and was slotted in quickly. I dropped the car off and the mechanic was friendly and professional. When I came to collect he talked me through the advisories and wasn’t pushy about doing the work. I’ll be recommending to family and friends.

   SCAMMER SOS Auto Care in Huddersfield at AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My experience was terrible from start to finish. The owner seemed friendly at first and offered to replace my subframe bushings, gear oil, brakes, and clutch for a surprisingly low price — which turned out to be too good to be true. He kept my car for five days, far longer than promised, and kept making excuses over the phone. When I finally arranged to collect my car, he suddenly demanded more money than we had agreed. He became aggressive and intimidating toward me and my wife, even threatening not to hand over my keys. Things got so bad that nearby people had to step in to make sure we could safely retrieve the car. I ended up paying £200 more than agreed just to end the ordeal. I later found my old parts dumped outside his garage after confronting him about it. This entire situation felt manipulative and dishonest. This business cannot be trusted. Stay far away from SOS Auto Care and make sure to avoid handing over your vehicle to anyone who operates like this. MAZ and the sos autocare team will decieve you to your wallet and are the last people you want to hand over your property to. Minus 10 stars KEEP CLEAR

   I was traveling through Huddersfield today when my car started playing up. As I was about to travel a good distance I needed to get the car looked at quickly. I just looked on Google maps and found this garage. They were super helpful and took a look at my car straight away. They got me back on the road in under 30 mins. Nothing swanky, just friendly, honest and straightforward. I would definitely recommend them.

   Mas is a legend! I had to urgently fix the master clutch cylinder on my Volvo to prepare for a long distance trip. Mas was able to book me in for the next day. He was very honest about the pricing and asked a very reasonable amount for the work. The actual work took longer then expected, but he kept his promise and stayed late with his mechanic to finish the job. The car was ready the same day as promised. Top service from a top man!
