   I had a very positive experience renting my new home through Spencer Harvey. The whole process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great care. The team were extremely friendly, respectful, and supportive throughout, and they made everything clear and straightforward from start to finish. Communication was excellent, and everything was completed quickly and smoothly, which really reduced the stress of moving. I am genuinely happy with my new home and very grateful for the help and support I received. I would highly recommend Spencer Harvey to anyone looking to rent a property.

   Update: I received a call asking me to remove my original review. While I appreciate that a member of staff was absent at the time, this does not change our experience as paying clients. I also believe honest reviews should help improve service, not be removed. Our experience with Spencer Harvey was mixed. Louise was brilliant at the start - friendly, helpful and gave great advice. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. Details were listed incorrectly, viewings were organised without our knowledge/on a day we said we can’t accommodate viewings, and once we had a buyer, communication largely disappeared. When issues arose with the buyer near completion, we had to chase for updates ourselves, and we didn’t feel supported. On completion day, no one contacted us about keys or next steps, so we were left to figure it out ourselves. Compared to the estate agents we bought through, the service and involvement felt lacking. The lack of guidance during the final stages contributed to us having to pay our buyer two months’ rent in order to complete, which we feel could potentially have been avoided with better communication and support from the agent.

   Highly recommend Harvey Spencer as a letting agent. Kate the lettings manager is proactive and takes great pride in her profession. After a terrible experience with another agent who put me in a very difficult position Kate on my behalf collected my keys, took a video of the state of the property, assisted with contractors and gave me the support I needed to get the house back to a viable let. Within 2 weeks, all works were complete, she’d found great tenants and had them all moved in. Ontop of that valued the property fairly and resulted in an increase of several hundred pounds. Truly professional and went over and above. Both Kate and Harvey Spencer have been excellent.

   Spencer Harvey rented my property for me and Id have no hesitation to recommend them to any landlord. Henry and Kate were very efficient, responsive and professional. I spoke to Henry initially who helped me tailor the service I required and we rented the property on the first viewing. Their fees may be higher than some of the bigger high Street names but you definitely get your moneys worth in service and rent achieved. Thanks for a great job guys.

   I purchased my first home through Spencer Harvey earlier this year and was super impressed with the service provided. The communication with the branch was excellent, via email and over the phone, and nothing was too much hassle. Leila, in particular, was extremely helpful - she provided guidance (which was needed at times!) and was always active in chasing the progress of the sale through to completion. I will definitely use Spencer Harvey in the future!
