Thanks for pumping my front left tire that showed it had low pressure. The only comment regarding my tyres, it seemed like it was all pumped at different levels (front left 34, right 33, back left 31, right 32) or maybe the others were not pumped or checked. 9761
All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was in a time sensitive situation and the repair work was completed in the little window that I had. Alton Cars recently carried out some insurance repairs on my vehicle. I was a bit unsure to use a company out of area and 30 miles away. Fear not, Alton Cars carried out everything at ease. The vehicle was collected from my work address, communication from staff through the process was excellent with updates. The vehicle has been repaired to a high standard. Bumper replaced with genuine parts and not repaired. The vehicle was then delivered back to my work address and it was clean. Even the extra details of the plastic sheeting on the seat and paper on the footwear goes to show Alton are very considerate and respectful of customers cars. The delivery/collection driver was a nice chap to deal with too (unsure of name) but a credit to the company. Highly recommend. Many thanks 8079
My car was sent here by my insurance company after an accident, the service was good until the end. When i went to collect my car, the man in reception just gave me the keys and sent packing, did not go through the work that was done had them check a tyre but failed to tell me the reason why it kept goin down was not from the accident but because i had a nail in the tyre which i found out when i took car to tyre garage the feale receptist was nice polite and more helpful, he needs some tips from her. The overal work was to a good standard and faultless, just a shame the receptionist lets them down.
Had my car in for accident damage they had my car for little over a week and i cant say a bad thing about the work done top class 100% happy with work done you would never know that the car was even damaged good work guys thank you
took my BMW M135 after a rear end shunt, they gave the car back to us with a vital suspension part totally sheered off, the boot lid was not aligned correctly, it took them 9 weeks to sort it out, boot lid is still the same, they NEVER answer the phone at any time of the day, KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, you have been warned, you're better of with back street brian!!!!! Following an accident where a pheasant went through the front grill of my Ford Puma my insurance company allocated the repair to Alton Cars Doncaster. From the first phone call, through the estimation process to the collection and re delivery of my car within 3 days every member of staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and friendly. They fitted me in for an estimate at a time to suit me. They delivered a courtesy car to me and took my car in for repair. The staff in the office kept me fully updated and the car was delivered back fully repaired within 3 days. The chap who collected my car on the repair truck also delivered the courtesy car and he was a great ambassador for the company. First class five star company who I would sincerely recommend without hesitation.
My car was sent here by my insurance company after an accident, and after the 'repair' job, I can safely say that I would recommend this place to nobody. On first inspection of the car after their first attempt at a repair, I found numerous faults, including the headlamp washer cover pushed around an inch into the front bumper, the wheel arch liner hanging off, the bumper not fitted properly, and mostly the bumper was painted a completely different colour to the rest of the car. I'm not sure who carries out their 'quality control', but they certainly don't have eyes. After a complaint to my insurance company, Alton Cars agreed to take the car back to fix the faults, but all they ended up doing was blending the wings of the car into the same colour they'd incorrectly used on the bumper (it's better, but not brilliant). I was told the usual rubbish of "plastic never paints the same as metal" but I'm guessing it does a lot better when you actually use the correct coloured paint! And, yet again, the wheel arch liner was hanging off. I'm not completely happy with the finished product these 'cowboys' carried out, but really cannot be arsed to complain again. If your insurance company offers Alton Cars to carry out any repair works, please, for the love of God, try and source your own body shop!!
