Absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but myself and my family were put at risk so this is not acceptable. Took my vehicle here to have the brakes checked as they were starting to squeak. The guy was very helpful and told us we needed new pads in the next couple of weeks. I then went away for the weekend and while I was breaking down a very steep bill the brake pedal went to the floor and the brakes failed. I immediately started pumping the brakes to regain control of the vehicle and with a very loud grinding noise it came to a halt. Shocked at the event I called my brake down company who came out and checked the vehicle over and said that my brake pad had come out and that there was absolutely no pad left it was just a metal pad. I asked what would have caused this and they said poor quality workmanship. I told them about me taking it to the garage and what I was told and they were shocked that someone would be so incompetent as to let me leave the garage with brakes in that state. Considering the brakes had been fine for years and only had this issue after going to the garage I think it’s clear who to blame. This event thankfully wasn’t a disaster but it could quite easily put me and my family in a lot of danger. I think it’s safe to say that I shall not be returning to this garage ever again!!!
Had a problem with a grinding noise and even though he was busy he went out of his way to diagnose the problem, and fitted me in within 24 hrs and fixed at a reasonable price. Would certainly recommend and will be using in the future
