I always put off getting my haircut after several bad experiences but I finally had such a great experience at Matthew James! Martha really took the time to understand what I wanted and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Was really nice to leave the salon loving my haircut and excited to come back!

I absolutely love going to this salon! I was recommended to go here after having a disaster with my previous salon. The team are so welcoming and friendly. Jenna is amazing—she knows exactly what my hair needs every time and I walk out feeling fantastic after every visit. Highly recommend!
Jenna was lovely and chatty! She did an amazing job cutting my hair! 5 star service from her! However the drink that was offered never made it to me and I had a dirty gown to wear.
My daughter has just had a balayage done by Martha. It looks fabulous. My daughters hair colour needed correcting and Martha did a fabulous job. 100% recommend this salon , friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, even free drinks included!
Martha was absolutely amazing doing my hair! Completely transformed my whole look and I am so so grateful. She is the loveliest girl, completely put me at ease and trusted her 100%! I asked to do blonde balayage but they said I could only have brunette balayage because my hair was black. When they took the silver out of my hair I saw that it was blonde and that they could very well have done blonde balayage but no, my hair is almost the same and I didn't pay the price they initially told me (£240 + 25 innoluxe). I paid £284 and my hair is horrible and practically the same, they did it on purpose to have to come back again. I'll never come back there again and I don't advise
I go to Matthew James on a regular basis and have to say its the nicest Hair salon I have ever been to. From the minute you walk in through the door the staff look after you. All the time you are in their care the staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble whatever you need. I want to say a big fat thankyou to you all it's an absolute wonderful experience having my hair done at your salon.
Had a great experience today at the salon, Leah who cut my hair was fab she spent ages perfecting my hair cut and I love it! It's made me feel so fresh. Great personal experience from start to finish would definitely use them again.
