   All the staff at Davis and Purdy have been fantastic, the work they have carried out on my banged up old car has been to a high standard - it'll go on a bit longer now! They're usually busy but will do their best to accommodate you, try to save money for you where they can and above all are kind and understanding. Thank you for sorting my car out. If you're looking for a traditional family run mechanic you can trust, look no further.

   It's difficult to know which garages to trust... But this one is really good. The owners and staff are really good and don't mind helping to save you money if work isn't yet required. They are very helpful and I'm really happy I've found this local garage. Edit. March 2023: Still really good. :-)

   Went in with a suspected gearbox/clutch issue for an automatic, the guy then told me that he don’t deal with automatic gearboxes and to go elsewhere, as I was leaving he came out and said he would scan it to see what came up if something did, got someone to scan it for me and nothing came up and then charged me £36 for it, so got me to get the car scanned to earn something out of me, knowing that what I told him was a gearbox issue! Wouldn’t recommend at all go elsewhere, clearly out to make a quick buck from anyone.

   Fixed Brake Calliper and MOT same day. Cannot recommend enough! Quote provided by email before visiting them, excellent friendly communication by phone with them on all occasions. I had a problem which delayed the repair I arranged with them (due to another business), they did not complain in the slightest, just happily booked me in for another day, did the MOT at the same time. The repair they completed has been successful and will be visiting them again this summer for an annual service.... I'll be going there from now on since discovering them. Well done team!

   First time I have used in a while. Very polite and helpful from the lady at the desk to the guys in the garage. Diagnosed the issue and booked in for the following week. My daughter had to leave for uni earlier than planned so got in earlier as they didn't want her to drive a distance until resolved. Spot on. Thanks.
