CJ has looked after my cars for years, always doing solid work and being very experienced in the MPS platform. It's the best place for any car and the only place for your MPS.
Took my MPS to Charlie at CJ Performance this morning for a full service, Was done in a few hours. Already booked in for some performance parts to be fitted. 100% recommend Charlie, nothing he doesn’t know. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!!
I used Charlie for a new vehicle inspection and after buying it, took it straight to him for a full service and some other bits. He was very helpful, communicated really well and was efficient. If you’re in the MPS community, Charlie is the first person you should be taking your car to. Amazing service. I will be back in a couple of thousand miles to do my chain.
Great place, great guys, very knowledgeable. Initially travelled 1.5 hours for a look over to see if my Gen 2 MPS needed anything prior to the upcoming MOT, in which the clutch had started slipping on the way there. Managed to fit me in on short notice, amongst other difficulties, and got the clutch, flywheel replaced and mot done efficiently for a great price. Kept me updated during the process if anything else needed replacing whilst performing the clutch replacement. 100% worth the journey and will go back for future work.
booked in at short notice, for cam chain on my mazda 6 mps. Charlie is a wicked guy and really knows his stuff. got my car sorted same day and is now driving like a dream. wont be going anywhere else other than to these guys from now on.
Had timing chain done today by Charlie, was given some great advice , such a helpful bloke and is always at hand for any work or advice ! Big thankyou to him for today was well worth the 2 hour trip and would definitely do it again !
Now I know why Charlie is so respected in the MPS community. Great guy and knows his stuff. Had some issues with my car and Charlie got me booked in quickly and sorted it.
Can only recommend! Had a misfire problem with my MPS and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I had the car trailered down and only 2 days later, it was ready to come home! Not only was the misfire diagnosed and fixed, but Charlie also offered to tune the car, since it had an incorrectly done tune on it (which was part of the reason it was misfiring). Charlie also got it MOT'd so it could come home on it's own wheels! Fantastic service, I'm really glad to have the MPS back! If I were to get anything else done to the car, I'd gladly drive 3 hours to CJ Performance to have it done professionally.
Charlie carried out my timing chain, VVT, oil pump, water pump and thermostat change on my Mazda 3 MPS. He was professional, knowledgeable and at a very competitive price. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
