Used this place a few times recently. Always had a great service. As a female customer I did not feel patronised or taken advantage of. I felt the prices I paid were of a good value for the work I had done. They kept me in the loop regarding any work done so no nasty surprise when I went to get my car.
Had my MOT test done here as my old garage has closed through retirement. I was recommended by a friend to use these, very happy with the service and will be using them for my service next month.
I have 3 cars and trusted this garage to do all mechanical work on my car. Recently had 2 services done on 2 cars, they managed to snap plastic tubes the same day on both cars near the air filter. Superglued them without telling me. Very disappointing. Also recently had an issue with my car and they said I needed subframe bushes replaced but refused to quote me for various reasons. I've been calling them for nearly 4 months and gave up. Never again
Lady is very rude. Phoned to ask a question as it didn’t state on job card what had been changed only what had been checked so I new what I needed next on my vehicle and I get nothing but a full lecture and that I ‘shouldnt be checking the work’ and I should trust what’s been done. I’m Not knowledgeable on engines that’s why I phoned up to ask to double check, dint expect a phone call back having an absolute rant at me. My only query was iv just paid over £230 for a MOT and service, has my oil been changed as it’s still black as coal. Will definitely be avoiding. The young lad is lovely and helpful, the old lady is extremely rude and unhelpful, happy to take your money but not happy to answer any questions when asked ‘what’s been changed on my service’ just wants to have a rant about how long she’s been doing this blah blah blah. Now I’m having to book in elsewhere to have my oil and filter changed as iv no idea if it’s been done or not. Shocking service from her
I’ve been taking my car to Swifts for years for services and MOTs and cannot fault them. They’re a friendly, family business who are always incredibly honest and upfront. They’ll never do work that doesn’t quite need doing yet (like replacing a tyre) but prefer to give advice like “you’ve got another couple of months left on that”. I’ve recommended Swifts to friends and family, and they’ve always been pleased with the service they’ve received too. A really brilliant garage.

Arrange an appointment for a tyre replacement, within 24hrs. Good service and quick response to arranging a new tyre and fitting.

Excellent customer service. I've been a customer for 6.years and they've always done me right. MoTs are swift and can usually be booked a day or so prior. Quality of work is top notch and prices reasonable. No gouging Best in the area.
