   I would just like to say only hairdressers and beauty I would go too, after many years of top class and up and behound service , I'm a nightmare customer never listen to top experts but every time never judge me, they know me so well, they get me out of trouble being Hannah every time, when can't go because personally reason, treat hair with shop products and bad after care, after being told never to do, love these professionally guys, always listen to what I want and respect my wishes every time , my Hairdresser Hannah , but run by Fran as manager, Jackie reception and my Hairdressers Hannah who I love and always get me out of trouble, love their beauty only this hairdressers and beauty I ever go , not to mention Henry beautiful little dog so cute caring greeting you making your experience magical, professionally and well being, well done all , simply the best, got it perfect Fran thank you love you all Jayne Raybould

   I emailed querying whether the salon is able to do a perm and got professional responses advising that they do perms, the starting costs and a consultation costing £10 would be needed before they can confirm a booking space. Arriving at the salon, the atmosphere was professional and inviting. However within the consultation I was asked if I have ever had a perm before and I explained I had them regularly through the 80s and early 90s and had one for a special occasion in 2014, the stylist proceeded to explain the history of a perm to me as well as the procedure. It was quite condescending considering that she knew I have had perms before. Without touching my hair to look at it properly she concluded that my hair would need to be cut shorter with short layers, that the spiral curl I would prefer cant be done and that even if she cuts my hair as advised and performs the perm she doesn't think it would hold. I was confused as when I have had perms in the past I have had medium-long hair with long layers and a perm has never failed me. When I raised the query she said that she can so it for me anyway if I really want it, the price given at this point was 3 times more than the starting price stated on the email quickly followed by a disclaimer that it wont hold and then added that no-one gets perms anymore anyway. This was supposed to be a treat to myself for my 50th birthday coming up and I left the consultation feeling ridiculed for wanting a hair style that ‘no-one gets anymore’, no proper care and attention was paid to actually look at my hair and help me to understand why the perm would fail and it seemed obvious that she didn’t want to perform the perm from the offset. This was my first experience at this salon and needless to say I wont be returning or recommending it to anyone

   I found Benessere as they do hot wax as well as strip wax and I’m so glad I did. The team were very welcoming upon arrival and the salon was immaculate. At eight months pregnant I’d felt apprehensive about being waxed but Becky made me feel immediately at ease and the waxing was relatively pain free! A great experience and good value. I’ll be a regular client from now on - Thank you!

   I got gel nails done on Wednesday 22 December just before Christmas the girl that did them was absolutely lovely but sadly the product used is such bad quality they started chipping within a day and by Christmas Day looked so bad I have had to take it off. Such a pity as would expect so much more given the price. Unfortunately I would not use the place again and I was also messed around with changing times and been given the wrong time.

   Made an appointment for a patch test for eye lash extensions after discussing with manager that had recently had cosmetic surgery. Had the ok from my consultant that no problem for any beauty work at all. Got to appointment only to be told they would not even do the patch test without a “doctors note”. Was not impressed. This was not advised during the telephone conversation. However, life does not always run smoothly and the owner, Fran, called me. Good service is defined by how complaints are handled and I have to say that Fran was very apologetic and sorted out the problem.

   Phoned on the day to have nails done, they managed to accommodate and book me in quickly on the same day within half an hour. Staff are welcoming and friendly and they don't try and sell you stuff. Wide verity of polishes to choose from which are good quality. Staff are professional and had good quality finish. Free beverages whilst nails were done as well. Overall I would defiantly recommend, good quality for the price you pay.
