These guys recovered my car from a road side after I was involved in a hit and run leaving me carless and no one to claim from. Good reliable company. Would use again Professional firm no nonsense guaranteed.

My car was seized by the police, stored at this compound where a fire then broke out. They never notified me that my car had been damaged until I went to get it released three months after the fire and they sent me to get a V62C form from the post office, as they need the receipts to release the vehicle. Only after I paid for the service at the post office, did they tell me that the vehicle has been burnt out. I then spent ages chasing my tail trying to get hold of the manager who I was promised would ring me back and nothing for months, only gave me a call back after I’ve won a default judgement at court. At that point they instruct Solicitors to say that there wasn’t liable, that everybody else used their own car insurance which might be correct but doesn’t takeaway they had a responsibility to maintain safety of all vehicles. The fire happened on their property. They have a police contract with South Yorkshire police to recover vehicles, but when the vehicles get damaged on their property, they do not want to pay out. Absolutely abysmal company. I don’t believe anyone should have used there own insurance as this puts your premium up, for an accident t that they should 1- be responsible for liability and 2 - keep your property safe. I would advise anyone who had a vehicle damaged in the fire in 2025 at there compound, to seek legal advice as to whether or not they are liable for any uplift on your insurance due to the claim. The reason for this is as follows: This company have a contract with South Yorkshire police to recovery vehicles. The police use tax payers money to operate and instructed these under the PEOPLE. This company has a responsibility to act in a fair and decent manner having such a contract. They don’t act like company who should have such contract and trust of South Yorkshire Police.

My motorbike & partners car were stolen during a burglary. These guys were contracted by SYP to recover & store them.Fantastically nice, helpful people ALL of them from the recovery man out in the middle of the night to the ladies in the office being helpful & supportive throughout ! Yes you do need proof of ownership & I.D etc obviously else anyone could take it & yes you do need to pay if not claiming through insurance. But remember if they hadn't recovered your vehicle there probably wouldn't be anything left !!

Initial recovery & contact was good. However as it was too late to be delivered to the garage was promised delivery the following morning, which never happened. We subsequently spent the following 3 days calling each time to be told the same that it would be first thing the following morning!! In the end they stopped answering our calls so we had to call in person, yet another excuse but finally it was delivered to the garage that afternoon. Was quick to take our money but not so quick to fulfill the job. Won’t be using again.

outrageous prices for the fact that the police called them, they make a problem when collecting, the fact that there is insurance on me and the buyer's green card does not mean that the car is mine ... the tow truck could not take my car to my mechanic or to my house even though it was 3 minutes away

Tried calling the number online and can’t get through. Looking at the reviews it’s not looking like the best company.

Wasn't Impressed my car was taken without my knowledge I got told the price to recover my car was £150 when I got there they charged me £290 for my car to be recovered even though it had been shut for boxing day and new years they still charge, constantly ringing the phone with no answer, giving misleading information saying its open on the website when it wasn't, not impressed at all not very welcoming or helpful when they recovered my car,

My overall experience was one where I was made to feel like less of a person, extremely rude, abrupt and confrontational. On the phone I was told £250 was the price and then from 12 the next day a £20 charge would be applied daily, so then I rushed to pick it up today… and the price was £290. So I was lied too, and then when I confronted them at the reception the staff member stared into my eyes, almost pushing her face into the glass separator and very abruptly said “it’s been here two days, that’s two days charge.” I was intimidated, humiliated and also made to feel like a less of a person. This kind of behaviour is beyond unkind, I don’t understand how a person like that can go home and feel like they have any positive effect on society. To the person in question, you were much older than me and my 9 year old son has better people skills than you, I suggest you have a good look in the mirror and think about who you are.
