   Response to Becky Mitchell from Northern Stag Centre Hi Becky, I am very sorry to hear that you recently had a poor experience with us, I can only apologies as you did fall through the cracks and the ball was dropped in a week we suffered multiple unavoidable staff absences. Once again I can only apologies that you were let down, in hindsight we should have advised you that we would be unable to attend your vehicle. However there other points I’d like to touch on in your review which I find very unfair. 1. We always speak to people with respect and try to be as informative as possible when it comes to any repairs and recommendations. 2. We have never and will never say we have fixed something we haven’t or unnecessarily replace parts. I do recall your 2006 Discovery having multiple issues of which we fabricated and repaired rotten sections of the wiring loom and also repaired a broken clutch pedal/box saving you a huge amount on dealer parts. We did advise the heavy clutch had probably caused the pedal to brake and would soon require replacement. On another instance we investigated the leakage of water into the cabin and found the sunroof cartridge which houses the sun roof to be cracked and allowing water to pass, we advised a second hand unit be sourced due high cost of new. You then booked your vehicle in for a service and then cancel on the day because you didn’t believe our sunroof diagnostic? Now finding out how unhappy you have been I’m surprised you wanted us to repair your vehicle following it’s recent breakdown? 3. Finally I’d like to thank you for your kind words regarding one of our staff, that staff member is me and I have spoken to you on numerous occasions which is why I was saddened by your review of my company and especially so that you had previously not been happy with the service before now? I am left baffled by your unfounded accusations. We do care about or customers and the service we provide so once again I’m sorry that your vehicle was not collected and that we part on such bad terms.    Thank you so much to Northern Stag Centre for their recent work on my Mustang. They look after all of our cars and their work is always carried out diligently and efficiently. I REALLY like the friendly, personal touch provided via David. On this occasion, when my car's stay at Northern Stag was a little longer than usual, I appreciated the care taken with the vehicle and the time spent on diagnosis and procurement of parts from the USA. Peter was also able to take the time to provide me with friendly and valuable advice, something not commonly on offer elsewhere. Finally, the bill; so decent for the parts and work my car required.
