After trying to get multiple garages to fix an engine fault on my VW Crafter, someone told me about STM. I’m so glad we found them. They took a forensic approach to diagnosing the problem, found it and fixed it and took the time to explain it to me in detail. Then they charged me a very reasonable about, saving me over £1000 vs a previous garage’s suggestion of replacing a turbo (which STM established actually wasn’t broken) Very impressed and I will happily trust them with any vehicle issues from now on.
Very helpful people and totally professional mechanics Martin ( the owner) and Andy ( second in command) went out of there way to help me with my Volvo that died as I dropped in on them without a booking but with a failed alternator, most garages would have turned me away as did the Volvo main dealers that I stopped at first so don’t be put of by the old cars scattered around the yard as most of these are Martins who has a passion for rebuilding classic cars from the chassis up, especially as there were two Rolles Royce two Mercedes a Nissan Infinity and some other high profile cars that were in for repair that day this gives you some idea of the quality of the mechanics ,so thank you Martin and Andy for your help.
