I needed my hair styled for a wedding but couldn't find a Hairdressers open on Mondays. ROBYN opened up the shop especially for me and I was more than happy with the way she did my hair. I live in Cornwall but if I ever need a Hairdressers in Birmingham again I will certainly go to Opposition. Highly recommended!!! Thank you Kelly and Robyn, lovely friendly service. booked me in for an appointment. When i got there they refused to cut my sons hair because they were already doing another lady. I was early for my appointment and they still turned me away . When i said i can wait half hour for them to finish the cut and do my sons they refused saying they close at 4.30.They asked me to rebook which I refused. Why book an appointment if you cant do it. I wont be going there again as I cancelled my entire afternoon plans to go here and they messed me about.

It's so hard to find a suitable hairdressers, but Kelly is amazing I brought my son in,he has difficulties and she was so lovely and accommodating, so much so my son wants to return, she was understanding.i won't go anywhere else now and cut my sons hair so calmly for him. when she was finished I cried from sheer happiness of how comfortable my son was.she has also cut my hair and my daughters hair with cuts were great! And service was lovely. Friendly atmosphere and great prices. Thankyou would recommend

Nice, friendly people, didn't get much for a dry cut tho, probably to be expected? but still £15.50 .....asked for layers, not much effort, I dont really like going to hairdressers, and my son wasn't happy with his either with the male hairdresser.
I mean worth a try, but I probably won't return sorry

I have had my hair done twice before with Z whom is absolutely lovely and I can see works very hard however on my third visit, I showed a picture of how i wanted my hair to resemble, I am brunette but greying at the front of head. I asked to have large blonde high lights at the front of head only ( to blend in the greys) but the rest of my hair which was healthy and dark and to be left untouched, I actually wanted the clear contrast of dark hair with silver/grey highlights. Unfortunately my suggestions were deemed ‘too harsh looking’ regarding the colour combination but that was what I wanted. She ended up doing a balayage on my entire head. I believe she put Olaplex treatment which I did not ask for as I already use it (and adds to cost in salon). I asked for gray/silver toner but the end result was just an entire head looking brassy brown which I know ends up looking dry and dull in a day or two hence not wanting the back of head coloured. There was no contrast between the highlights at all and I know my hair can go blonde really nicely as I’ve had it done before. I also asked for curls but hairdresser thought it best to straighten it. I didn’t complain whilst there as that is not my character, I am not one to cause a scene or have an argument especially in-front of other customers but as soon as I realised this hairstyle wasn’t going to be anything that I asked for, I just grit my teeth until she ‘finished playing with my hair’. I was charged £95.00 for a hair colour and style I did not ask for. I usually leave a tip when happy but not on this occasion. I will now need to find somewhere else to put in the highlights I initially wanted. Outcome is, despite previous better experiences, I was really unhappy with this latest result and at a cost shy of £100.00 this is money is cash I will not get back. Sad to say, I personally shall not be returning. Very very disappointed and dissatisfied.
