   Please do not take your child here. I took my 14 month old for a fringe trim. She has beautiful curly thick shoulder lengths hair. The salon looks deceiving, it was very child-friendly inside so I had high hopes. The lady was friendly but the cut was horrendous. It was wonky and many inches shorter than I asked. I specifically specified to her that I did NOT want her fringe short as that is my biggest worry. It is so short and bent, and looks ridiculous. The ‘cut’ was blamed on her curly hair and because she was moving. It’s a children salon, you should be trained on moving children! Also she used hot tongs on my little one which is just stupid I don’t know how you could a fringe that bad for. Now, it has to be tied up until it has grown a few inches to straighten it properly! Would not recommend at all, there are better salons in birmingham.

   I have been trying to find a hairdresser who is willing to cut my Grandsons hair as he is autistic and hates having his hair cut. It has been such a battle that my daughter and son in law have had to try and cut it themselves. I found Kids Hair Play on line and asked if they could help. They were very supportive. I booked an appointment with Sophie. She was absolutely brilliant!!! She worked at my Grandsons pace, talking to him all the time. She checked with me and my son in law if we were happy as he cut his hair explaining what she was doing and why everytime she changed the clipper attachments. My Grandsons hair was very long. Sophie is a superstar!!!

   My child had their first hair cut here and I was very underwhelmed. The staff knew it was their first cut but the whole appointment felt rushed, the hairdresser hardly spoke to me and even less to my child. The car they were sat in was completely covered in hairs before we even used it even though there was no one else in there and 3 members of staff. Not the lovely experience I thought it would be at all Arrived early but was then late because the parking is so bad

   I booked the pamper package for two special little girls and the service we received from Hannah was incredible. She was friendly, extremely kind and very professional! The girls felt like princesses and felt she was attentive to their wishes (including all the glitter!!). We’ll definitely be back again! Thank you Hannah! X

   Vanessa is brilliant. My little 2yr old boy won't sit anywhere, so she basically had to follow him around the salon, snipping as and when she could, and still ended with a lovely finish!

   I took my 3 year old this morning, I could not be happier with the service. They were friendly and welcoming, my son is shy and anxious about these things and he didn't cry or complain once, he sat in a batmobile while the lovely member of staff gave him his haircut. My boy will be a regular there.
