£25 for a barbers fade - absolute rip off as the standard of the fade was inadequate, no standard at all - would not recommend

For me... the worst barber ever. Wanted to have skinfade, but being trimmed a bit even when I said it three times about using shaver. On the end, I gave up and let her finish it. Paid £14 for nothing. I'll never come back.

Decent enough place. Staff are very nice and reasonably priced. Gets pretty busy at times

I felt like an inconvenience as soon as I entered the hairdressers but that’s by the by. FYI I don’t understand hair dresser terms and last went to the hair dressers in 2019. I explained I had quite a few allergies and brought my own shampoo. The lady did my foils without a patch test (I found out after that this should have been carried out). It felt like it was burning my head, but the most concerning thing was my tongue swelled up in the 45 minutes of “curing time”. The washing out of the hair dye was aggressive to say the least, I’m surprised I didn’t end up with whiplash. Thankfully when the cutting started the swelling of my tongue went down. She started cutting without asking what I wanted. I interjected my desired cut and was basically ignored. If you want highlights/colour done that looks good, but wasn’t what you asked for, then give them a go. If you want a cut that looks nice, and has received plenty of good comments, but is not what you wanted, again, I can recommend. This was supposed to be a treat, however I think I’ll go back to cutting my hair with some kitchen scissors in the bathroom for the next few years before I can pluck up the courage to try somewhere else.

I took my son to a local children’s salon for his first haircut before his appointment at scissors and it did not compare to the service I received at scissors. Scissors made such a fuss over him, made sure he was comfortable, kept him Entertained and understood what children need to have a positive experience at the hairdressers. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Had my hair cut here yesterday and i had to return today because of the mistakes that were made. Pointed out that my hair is two different lengths at the front and blocky on the left side only, my fringe was blocky on the edge, both are very visible. The lady that cut my hair accused me of cutting it at home and it wasnt like it when i left, this is not professional, she did offer to correct it but i dont want anymore hair cut off. Her response was she wasnt going to cut anymore off just thin it out, correct me if im wrong but thinning hair out involves cutting so she was prepared to do something that i did NOT want. Its unfortunate that this is how the situation was handled. I personally wouldn't recommend.

Laura provided me a wonderful hair cutting experience, making sure I was dead happy with the hairstyle I asked for. So pleased with the look can't thank her enough!
