Great service and great lads , always friendly and helpful, would not take my cars anywhere else to be serviced etc .
Booked for MOT, only had to wait a day to get in. Exceptionally clean and tidy workshop. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only moan, if I had to make one is, make the coffee machine free lol. Most places now provide free coffee. I run a business and I provide free tea and coffee all day to customers and as daft as it sounds, they always comment on it.
They tried to charge me £1.3k for a repair that cost only £200 elsewhere. This happened just before Christmas and New Year's and decided to exploit it. Go elsewhere; there are plenty of other garages nearby that aren't complete crooks.
Went in to get my suspension checked out, they said they “gave it a shake” and there’s nothing wrong and that “I’m lucky” to have no damage. I had to wait and take it to another garage as there was still a noise. They found that the suspension arm had collapsed and they let me drive away with the arm hitting the subframe of the car and thinking that they had checked it all. Obviously didn’t look at the suspension at all as it was quite obvious. Didn’t listen to me and spoke to me like I was stupid.
Fantastic , they were really friendly and helpful. I phoned to ask if i could take my car in for an mot a hour later it had been mot,d and i was picking it up an hour after dropping it off. I will definitely be stopping with new lane motors.
Great garage not rip off merchants like some garages. Lad's are really friendly and know there stuff. Keep up the good service lad's definitely recommend to others

We have used this garage for several years for both cars and have always been happy with the help we received. Today we paid a 'cash' price for a new 'old fashioned' car battery of £100. Felt it was overpriced as the battery was only £60. So £40 was for testing the battery was at fault and replacing it. On being given the price checked alternatives, Halfords have £60 batteries with a £18.00 fitting charge.... which they would have fitted at no extra charge at our home for no extra charge if we were prepared to be flexible of the time. Alternatively we could have gone to their store and had a 5 point check to verify it was the battery and had it fitted for £78. Have previously price checked alternative garages for MOTs etc New Lane was always competitive...just sorry we didn't this time as we know that Halfords are not generally a cheap option.
Great garage. Managed to fit my in at short notice. They're so experienced they immediate knew what the fault with my car would be, fixed it promptly and were extremely reasonably priced. Can't really ask for more!
