   If you have curly or wavy hair, I would not recommend this salon. Despite clearly explaining that I rarely wear my hair straight and wanted a trim that worked with my natural curl pattern, my hair was straightened and cut bluntly with no consideration for how it behaves when curly. No heat protectant was used before straightening, which is especially concerning given that my hair is fine and prone to frizz. Instead of a small trim, a lot of my natural curl length was removed, leaving me with a heavy, blunt finish that does not suit textured hair and has resulted in an uneven curl pattern when worn naturally. This stylist may be experienced with straight hair, but there was a clear lack of understanding of curly hair and how it should be cut to suit natural texture and styling preferences. I was also very concerned by the hygiene standards in the salon. Brushes and tools were visibly covered in hair from previous clients, which is unhygienic and unacceptable in a professional setting. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.
